Let me give you some context.
It was a giant flipping library,
buried under the desert,
curated by a freaky spirit owl who's really angrily pacifistic,
containing knowledge of literally everything in Creation.
Yeah you heard right.
Wan Shi Tong is "Knower of Ten Thousand Things", ten thousand being the Taoist idiom for "everything".
And Sokka sunk it for a stupid invasion.
