status:  closed  starter  for ryan anderson  @poetr1es location:  castle grounds, watching  a  stage  play

the  crowd  was  captivated  by  the  actors  on  stage  doing  a  fairly  decent  performance  of  romeo  and  juliet.  josie,  watching  from  afar,  couldn't  seem  to  focus  with  ryan  just  a  few  feet  away.  she  promised  herself  that  she  wouldn't  work  when  she  wasn't  on  set,  but  that  was  easier  said  than  done.  “did  you  see  the  rewrites?  i  asked  some  guy  dressed  like  a  gnome  to  drop  it  off  at  your  door,”  she  said  after  finally  working  up  the  courage  to  go  up  to  her.  “i  think  it  reads  as  more  grounded  now,  you  know?”

pool   cue   feels   foreign   in   his   grasp   as   he   rounds   the   table   ,   eyeing   off   his   next   shot   .   not   a   professional   in   any   measure   but   still   as   competitive   .   “   god   ,   i   haven’t   played   this   in   years   .   ”   words   mutter   under   his   breath   ,   more   so   to   himself   than   his   companion   .   max   leans   over   the   table   ,   lining   his   shot   with   cool   confidence   before   taking   it   .   miss   .   “   jesus   christ   .   ”   smirk   fades   but   lesiure   still   lingers   in   his   expression   ,   taking   a   step   back   to   lean   against   the   far   wall   and   pay   attention   to   his   beverage   instead   .   “   if   you   end   up   better   than   me   at   this   ,   i'm   staging   a   walk   out   .   ”
