Uhoh looks like this goofball is posting AGAIN today. I need to find another hobby because this one is clearly consuming too much of my time. Waiting until classes start again and have access to so many trails I SweAr. I live to walk in the wilderness and chase bugs but I am being denied by the HEAT. If I die it will be because of heatstroke or dehydration, if I have anything to say about it.
Anyways Sketchbook 30 is food themed :) Outside is onigiri and the inside is ramen. I don’t actually care too much for ramen, but I have to admit it always looks really good? It may be because I’ve never had a good bowl of it. I’m not too big a fan of most noodles in general, so that could be it, too. I like the toppings and broth, though, lmfao. I like the sou p. Onigiri is because I like it a lot. Who doesn’t love a rice ball with a nice filling or topping? Also on topic, sketchbook 30 is going to be the first of my hand bound sketchbooks I’ll be officially using! Yippee! I’ll make sure to keep tabs on how it holds up, and hopefully my posts will work as some solid notes on what I should be looking out for on my next project! So long as it works for me, I should be good.
That little poem on the left was from some book scrap, so I have no clue who wrote it nor have I been successful in finding reference to its author online. I just couldn’t toss it, though. If someone could help me out, I’d love to know the authors name.
Could anyone recommend poems or short stories where they see or describe Time as an artist?
Been reading some of Shakespeare's sonnets and the "antique pen" got me real curious about other writers having a similar theme(?) or concept of Time.
Got any poetry prompts?
I want to write some poetry but have no inspiration and don't know what to write about.
Got any prompts/ideas?
i'm writing a poem and i can't decide on which version i like better pls help
version one:
i need a new prescription love rendered me blind see through another pair of eyes let go, leave you behind
first clouds, then rain obscured my signt but was it really the blurry vision that doubled your image maybe you're just two faced
version two:
another pair of eyes new glasses, repair my failing prescription i always thought blurry vision caused double images turns out you're just two faced
if I referred to William Shakespeare as “Willy Shakes” or “Wouldiwas Shookspeared” in my descriptive poem about my antique spoon collection, would my poetry teacher be obligated to kill me?
Is there anyone good at poetry (meter specifically) who will be up for the next 6 hours?
I am in need of some serious help
