A Friendly Reunion

David parked his car, staring up in awe at the building that was now known as Lamb’s Pointe. He could recognize it, sure, it used to be a hospital! It would be awfully useful if it still were a hospital, of course, but he admired the time and dedication it must’ve taken to turn it into a church.
Green eyes drifted slowly over to the gifts in his front seat: a bouquet of bright, colorful flowers and something else all wrapped up (oh he’d been working on it for so long now, he even got professional help with it! How he hoped Daniel would love it!) and tied with a pretty bow, all white and shimmering gold ribbon. A deep breath was taken, and David gathered the presents in his arms before exiting his car and lightly shutting the door with his foot.
True, he didn’t know... much at all about Daniel’s religion, and it was a bit of blind faith that he would be here today, but it certainly seemed like people were here, what with the other cars... But despite this, he knew it would be impolite to just barge in uninvited. So he found a door and approached, grinning eagerly as he knocked; probably, far too many times and in too quick of a succession, but could you blame him? He was excited! And now came the waiting game, where he stood and bounced on his heels, eager to see his friend again and give him a great big hug!
