Okay for anyone who hasnt tried Chansey chaining in LGP or LGE, it is so worth the effort. I had to go to few websites to get the best tips, so here is my method.

(It should be noted that I am doing this for exp, not for IVs or shiny hunting, but this method still works for both of those. Also this is post E4)

Items needed for this are a heck of a lot of Max Lures and Ultra Balls. Dont bother with berries due to tip 4.

1. Go to an early route (I did Viridian Forest) and get a chain of 11 on a low-level pokemon (In this case, I chose Weedle)

2. Go to Cerulean Cave 2F. I chose this location because the Chansey here are level 54-58, which is really good for exp. (Other people say use Digglet's tunnel for IVs or shiny hunting)

3. Spray a Max Lure, and start chaining. It'll be a pain to get the first few, but after the first 11 (which took me about 35 minutes to get to) you should consistently see them popping up.

4. IMPORTANT TIP!!! Only use Ultra Balls, chuck 2 and then RUN. You only break chain if they run away from you, not if you run from them. Chanceys that high level will run pretty quickly. TWICE I ran away just as one was running and managed to keep my chain, but after about 3 hours I unfortunaly got greedy, tried a third throw, and lost my chain of 50+ :'(

Doing this method, the lowest amount of exp frim one chancey was 8,000 and the most I got was 33,750 (!!), I averaged around 15-22,000. In around an hour my level 60 team had gained 10+ levels. Do this method, it is so worth the effort!!

I have to be honest

I have mixed feelings about the new Pokemon game, I'm not saying that is bad it's just that what I like about Pokemon games is discovering new creatures and exploring new zones. So may I skip this one, also I heard you can't play with other Pokemon but gen 1, so I won't be able to play with my boys Drifblim and Drifloom.

Otherwise, It looks like a fun and good game
