Yes, favorite professor mostly for nostalgic reason. Gen 6 was the generation I entered into the series and the only time I actually watched the anime (still good, gonna miss you Ash). I just think he's neat and did this for funzies. Yes there are some head canons, just again having fun :3

Hi! I hope you don't mind this ask, but I was wondering, do you know of any sims 4 mods that add active careers? Or if anyone has created updates for the turbo career mod? I've been looking for mods that add new careers, like your fashion mod (which I love!!), but active careers instead of just regular ones. I figured if anyone might know of some, it'd be you!

Hi there!  I’ll answer this publicly so others can see too :)

No, I haven’t seen any other active careers yet.  Probably because they’re really time-consuming to do and you have to make unique lots for them to work.  It seems like most people haven’t tried modding careers yet, or maybe are put off with how much work it takes.  If you want to make a really in-depth one like Zerbu’s or even mine, it takes a lot of xml tuning and python to do, so that’s probably why there aren’t more (and why I haven’t churned out a bunch of careers myself, to be honest).

I’ve seen some ones on ModTheSims recently which take the base game careers and turn them into City Living type-careers where you can choose to go to work or stay home (which is something I’ve wanted for a while- can’t wait to play these when I get back into my game!). There’s also Neia’s careers (not active, but include some more “normal” careers like Teacher, Military and Biology), and a few career add-ons from OrangeMittens and Andrew at Sims4Studio (they added a child-care career and fast food careers for adults).  And my career, of course :)

I have thought about updating Turbo Careers- back when I started modding, actually, part of the reason I wanted to learn how to mod was because I wanted to see if I could fix Go to School which was broken at the time.  But everyone’s modding process is a bit different, and Zerbu’s coding is a bit messy and hard for me to decipher.  Which is fair- he didn’t write it for other people to mess with, but updating the mod would basically be to write it from scratch for me, so that’s why I’ve never tried.  Maybe someone else will someday!
