I got into 9-1-1 last year and I've been watching it until the 8×14/15 shitshow happened. I know every plot and spoilers coming anyways so i stopped watching at season 6 poker date episode and i will not watch it any further

Im good in my little bubble, i stopped at the peak. In my mind pops still alive, maddie didn't get her throat slashed and buddie cannon

Im just gonna stand here and watch if they gonna screw up season 9 or not

My only regret is not seeing mustache eddie diaz, rip it was an icon to me :(

When Eddie said “3 minutes and 17 seconds” you could hear the possessiveness in his voice. Like these people were making the situation not serious enough. They were taking the fact that his Buck died too lightly. It was possessive, it was “you weren’t there when the lightning struck. You didn’t have to live without him, for 3 minutes and 17 seconds, in agony. You didn’t have to know he was dead and possibly not waking back up for 3 minutes and 17 seconds.” It was “the love of my life was dead for 3 minutes and 17 seconds. And I died with him for those 3 minutes and 17 seconds. And I don’t know if I ever came back. I won’t ever get those 3 minutes and 17 seconds back.”

I love how 9-1-1 fandom is all "Buck and Eddie are joined at the hip and spend every single second of their time together" and then the actual show is like "oh yeah Eddie has his secret poker crowd (that he goes to enough to fist bump the wait staff) and his basketball and his Muay Thai and..."

Also watching the poker night:

- Yeah that was a date

- Let them dress up more often! They look SO GOOD

- I can't believe Captain Mehta - aka unspoken hero of this show who saved Buck so he could save Eddie - didn't once reference the shooting (also do you think that all the other firefighters are scared when the 118 show up, like shit is gonna GO DOWN.)

- I feel like this should be like The Rookie where everyone calls John Nolan a disaster magnet and people don't want to be in the car with him: you can't tell me everyone doesn't talk about the cursed crew of the 118.
