Middle school, whenKageyama joins the volleyball club in his first year

Kageyama. At first hewas like ‘ah, healthy admiration for my fellow sportsperson’, but soon hefigured out his feelings (rather quickly, for someone who can, frankly, be alittle dense sometimes)

On their third date,Oikawa takes pity on Kageyama (who has not yet worked up the courage) and giveshim a quick goodnight kiss.

Whoconfessed their feelings first?

Oikawa is brought to seea Karasuno match by Daichi and Suga (Daichi was like really? Oikawa? but Sugainsisted) when Kageyama is in his last year of high school. It will probably bethe last match of his (and the other third years’) high school career. It isvery close to the final, but Karasuno loses. Suga and Daichi go down to greetthe entire team, but Oikawa leaves them to find Kageyama, who has broken offfrom the group. He finds Kageyama, sat in an empty hallway of the sportscentre, visibly upset. When Kageyama sees him, he tries to get control ofhimself but cannot. Feeling a surge of affection for Kageyama, Oikawa sits downbeside him, smiling. Oikawa tells Kageyama how this isn’t the end of hisjourney, tells him what he told Iwaizumi after they lost their own last matchof high school, what he told Ushijima back then too. Life goes on beyond high school, as doesvolleyball, and every loss only serves to make you stronger. Oikawa is quiteproud of his little speech, and does not at all expect Kageyama’s first wordsin reply to be a confession. After some consideration, he agrees to one date.

Whatwas their first official date?

Kageyama takes Oikawaout to the movies. Though the movie is deadly dull in Oikawa’s opinion,Kageyama has bought him milk bread, so Oikawa agrees to a second date.

Howdo they feel about double dates/group dates?

Oikawa feels a littleodd about it, because either they go out with a couple who are both his age,and Kageyama is the odd one out, two years younger than them, or they go outwith Kageyama’s friends, his age, and Oikawa is the odd one out. Kageyamadoesn’t understand this issue Oikawa has, but is more than happy to go on dateswith only Oikawa.

Whatdo they do in their own time?

For a long time, theyonly go on dates together, and don’t see each other in any other circumstance,but eventually they hang around each other more. Kageyama likes birdwatching,it’s like his only other hobby, and eventually Oikawa takes a shine to it to,so sometimes they go on jogs or walks together, and look for birds! One thingthey do not do together is play volleyball… while they both share a love forthe sport, it’s not something they grew to love while around each other, andwhile they can easily handle watching each other play, and giving tips onimprovement, playing together is just something neither have a desire for.

Whatwas the first meeting of parents as an official couple like?

Oikawa’s sister was alittle confused, she’s like the fuck, I thought this was one of the guys youhated?? But if he’s happy, she’s happy. Oikawa thinks he makes a bad impressionon Kageyama’s parents, because they don’t seem to be swayed by his charm atall, and don’t laugh at his jokes. Kageyama is surprised, saying his parentsloved Oikawa! They just don’t have a sense of humour

Whatwas their first fight over and how did they get past it?

Kageyama revealed he hadbeen planning to go to the same university as Oikawa, and although he is infact going to a different one, it still makes Oikawa feel nervous and insecure,like he did in middle school. He acts angry and defensive as a result, althoughKageyama does not get angry, just confused

Whichone is more easily made jealous?

Neither, really.Kageyama is a little worse than Oikawa though, but usually he’s too dense tosee if anyone is even interested in Oikawa, so he can’t be jealous of them.He’ll only really notice if Oikawa goes on and on about a person

Whatis their favourite thing to get to eat?

They usually just likegoing to a coffee shop and picking out a pastry and a drink to go.

Not really. AlthoughOikawa would prefer to be holding hands, Kageyama isn’t really fond of doingthat kind of display of affection in public

What’sthe worst fight they’ve ever gotten into?

They usually don’t fightper se, usually only one of them loses their temper at a time, and just yellsat the other. Sometimes Oikawa manages to strike a nerve and rile up Kageyama(he’s much better at doing this on purpose, knowing just what to say), and itturns into a full blown argument. Most of their worst fights stem from theirunderlying insecurities about their volleyball skill.

Whodoes the shopping and the cooking?

Oikawa is much better atcooking than Kageyama, but he tries to teach Kageyama a few things. Kageyamahates going shopping for anything that isn’t volleyball related, and thoughOikawa loves grocery shopping, most other kinds exhaust him.

Whichone is more organized and prone to tidiness?

Kageyama. He’s used tonot allowing excess clutter to accumulate around his room. Tidiness is the keyto success, a tidy room is a tidy mind, all that. He is like, so disillusionedwhen he finds out what an untidy person Oikawa is… worse still, becauseOikawa isn’t particularly hindered by it, he can find whatever notes he needsfrom the piles of papers on his desk without trouble… has Kageyama been liedto about tidiness??

Whoproposes?

Kageyama. He gets allformal, but waits until Oikawa is lying sick on the couch, feeling sorry forhimself. He just suddenly has a burst of courage and gets on one knee besidethe couch and proposes. Oikawa is horrified. How dare Kageyama propose in suchan unromantic manner! Look at the state Oikawa’s in, all sick and unshowered,hair messy and pajamas wrinkled in an unsightly manner!! He accepts, but isextremely vexed

possible rinharu olympics movie headcanon: the vague plot is about rin and haru beginning to start training in australia and japan respectively, and along the way they both come across obstacles, like maybe haru has second thoughts about the olympics bc rin isn't by his side and the end isn't in sight yet, and he doesn't know if he rushed his decision and wonders if its his dream etc. rin gets ahead until he realises haru isn't there in front of him pulling him along, and the plot (1/2)

(2/3)) the plot focuses on them realising that they do better together when they are side by side. a possible obstacle could be that haru and rin aiming for olympics kinda drives the friendship group apart, like sousuke feels left behind, rin gets ahead of himself and doesn’t stay in contact and support nitori, nagisa and rei have no contact from rin and haru, makoto is completely shut out by haru and can’t read him anymore. it’s just one bit of angst after the other until they all realise

(3/3, sorry for the spam lmao) they all realise how important they are to each other, and it brings them back together somehow, and they have to rebuild things with each other, and for rin and haru, they find that they realise their need for each other runs deeper than being just teammates, rivals and friends, but more.
