To all fairness, Miranda was actually having a not-bad day when it came to her schoolwork. True, she was well and used to having others study for her, do all of her work, and take any tests that needed to be taken until the teachers had to force Miranda to actually take the tests herself - but political science was, oddly enough, one of the subjects Miri didn’t have a problem in. After all, she was well-acquainted with policies and law-making and had been brought up in such a way that was training her to do the best at balancing all of the factors at play - that was a given since she was one of the ruling figures in her kingdom.
Hell, when she had skipped up to Polly, it was with a solid assurance that Miri was going to talk about the actual content the two had faced upon the test. There was a bright smile upon Miri’s face and a shine in her eyes that said that Miranda was proud of herself.
Well, that plan promptly went out the window when Polly pressed a smooch to Miri’s cheek.
Blink blink. The cold press of another’s lips to Miri’s cheek had an odd habit of lingering, even as her cheeks warmed with a bright blush.
Miri’s fins flared, fluffing up to their full extent, and Miri stumbled a bit over her words as she tried to gather herself back up. Miranda might be an uncontrollable flirt at times - but damn if she couldn’t be easy to fluster at others.
“Ah, oh, well, I - “ Get yourself together, Miri! You’re already acting a fool in public! As if you need help doing that. “No, I do not, in fact, know what the ‘ F ’ stands for.”
