bartender!Remus Lupin x bouncer!Sirius Black x stripper!reader [1.4k words]
A/N: this was a request I got excited about last night and wrote it in a flurry and now it's missing from my inbox 🥲 the request was an image of two guys standing near a stage speaking to a dancer who was bending down to talk to them with the caption "the bartender and bouncer chatting up their favourite dancer at the end of the night" and then a request for whichever ship I think this would fit best
CW: fem!reader, reader is a stripper and it vaguely mentions her state of undress but barely, SFW, Remus is sweet, Sirius pretends that he's not but he's actually sweet too, fluff
A large glass of water and a prettily made cocktail appear in your eyeline, both held by a set of lithe fingers which bring an instant smile to your face.
You remember yourself and attempt to straighten, realizing belatedly that the way you’re sitting on the stage hunched over as you undid the intricate straps of your heels is likely quite un-sexy.
It’s ironic, really; the fact that your hands are more blister than they are skin at this point and the fact that you are absolutely parched, yet your heels always take priority at the end of your shift.
You were the closer for the bar tonight; not usually your favourite shift but the tips made up for it.
Mostly made up for it.
There were perhaps…other things that also made up for closing shifts.
“Here,” Remus says, crooking his fingers at you in the universal gesture for come here, “you drink, I’ll do these.”
You consider arguing but ultimately concede; your fatigued muscles and dry mouth – likely for more reasons now than the simple issue of dehydration – sees you inching your way towards the edge of the stage so that your calves hang off of it, Remus busying himself with the straps immediately.
“This bloke bothering you, doll?” Another voice drawls; the arrogant hints of aristocracy making itself known in his syllables even as he saunters over to the two of you like a blissed-out rockstar.
Remus, for his part, snorts incredulously. “You wish.”
You laugh at the bartender. “Why? Is he just dying for an excuse to have you pressed up against the edge of this stage?”
It earns you a warning tap of your (now free!) ankle as one heel is placed gingerly on the stage next to you and Remus starts on the other. “You’re meant to be drinking, you minx.”
You don’t bother apologizing, more than aware that Remus isn’t actually mad as you bring the glass of water to your lips; Sirius winking at you when you meet his gaze.
Sirius had shown up for his first shift in the pissing rain; his entire form hidden beneath a hooded jumper layered beneath an oversized leather jacket. His head and face had been covered by the soaking wet hood and his hands were shoved into the pockets of his jacket.
You’d given the owner of the club a strange look regarding the newbie, feeling that – compared to James and Fabian – this bloke didn’t appear to be all that intimidating for a bouncer. He wasn’t particularly tall – though you wouldn't call him short, either – nor was he particularly wide (granted, your point of reference in that regard is James, so, do with that what you will).
And then two, fully tatted hands emerged from the pockets in order to pull his hood away from his head, exposing a head of onyx hair pulled back haphazardly into a damp and careless bun, fierce, dark brows furrowed as though the rain personally slighted him which gave way to steely grey eyes. The length and fullness of his lashes almost threatened to take away from his edginess, not unlike those of a baby cow, but then those eyes surveyed the room with the assurance of someone who has spent countless years scanning every room for potential threats, and you looked to Minnie in apology for ever doubting her.
By the time Remus was hired on, you were smart enough not to question the matriarch.
You survey Remus, then, who’s unwrapping the last of your straps from your ankles and freeing your sore foot from the shoe. He’s not built like a bouncer, either, though you’ve seen him hand a few men their arses when they caught an attitude close enough for him to hear from the bar. You weren’t convinced that the honey colour of his eyes were capable of going ice-cold until you’d seen it for yourself.
You find yourself feeling particularly lucky to have not found yourself on the receiving end of one of those glares.
“Good shift, gorgeous?” Sirius asks the way he always does; resting one elbow on the edge of the stage as he splits his attention between you, the bartender, and the last of the patrons petering out of the doors. You give him the same answer every time.
“It was alright.”
To which he always responds with “you look great.”
You try to ignore the way he never says you looked great, past tense, but rather that you look great, presently; a pullover quickly shoved over your head as your shoulders gradually sag under the weight of the evening.
It’s, admittedly, getting harder and harder to ignore.
“She always looks great.” Remus adds, though it’s not said in opposition but rather in agreement.
“How about you?” You return the question, not sure how to respond to their unabashed compliments.
“Oh, no complaints.” Sirius sing-songs, smiling at Remus like they share a secret. “How ‘bout you, Lupin?”
Remus hums in agreement as he rests his forearms against the lip of the stage to your other side, not unlike the way he leans against his bar during lulls in orders or when he’s dedicating his attention to a customer or a dancer. “My shift was quite alright, thanks. My favourite dancer closed out the bar, so, that’s always nice.”
“Oh for-” you start, never finishing your sentence as you make yourself busy with downing the rest of the water.
“Awe, Remus; you made her shy.”
“Okay, that’s it.” You threaten with a wide smile on your face, making to grab your heels and fancy drink only to be stopped by the same hands that brought you said drink and freed you from said heels.
“Oi, where’re you going in such a rush?”
You don’t bother dignifying him with a response, merely narrowing your eyes at him as he fights against a mischievous smile. He cocks an eyebrow at you.
“To change.” You laugh, neither man deigning to correct you seeing as you’re actually not going to change so much as you’re about to get dressed.
“Well I don’t see how.” Sirius states plainly, shrugging one shoulder as he gestures towards your bare feet with his opposite hand. “You’ve not got any shoes on.”
“And, what?” You deadpan. “This isn’t exactly a no shoes, no shirt, no service type of establishment.”
You manage to elicit a cheeky smile out of him for that, the kind that exposes sharp canines and crinkles the corners of his eyes.
“We can’t have you walking on this dirty floor with your sore feet.” Remus coos in a manner you might have assumed to be being patronizing if not for the honest divot between his brows.
“Quite right.” Sirius agrees as he straightens, moving over in order to stand between your legs with his back towards you. “Up you get.”
“I beg your pardon?” You actually giggle like a sodding school girl.
“I’ll give you a ride, c’mon.”
You let out a disbelieving laugh again as you look at your empty glass, your drink, and your shoes. “But-”
“I’ve got it. Up you get, dove.”
Your cheeks are on fire but you do as told, looping your arms over Sirius’ shoulders and around his neck as he encourages your weight off of the stage.
He barely manages three steps before James is hollering at him.
“Oi, dickhead! Don’t worry about me then, yeah? I’ve got it?” He jokes as he locks the door behind the last patron.
“Brilliant! Good lad.” Sirius smiles in return, either ignorant to or in spite of the two-fingered salute he receives from his coworker.
“Oh, that reminds me: James has been hounding me to exercise more, so if he asks, doll, I’ve been working out with you.”
You try and fail to hide the burst of giggles that elicits out of you into Sirius’ shoulder.
“Why would you tell him you were working out with me?”
“That doesn’t sound like the soundest of alibis, mate.” Remus agrees.
Sirius, for his part, shrugs. “You girls are some of the fittest people I could think of; beats having James yell at me in a public gym.”
“Careful,” you tease, “I’m liable to make you come work out with me just to avoid being complicit in a lie.”
Sirius makes a rather pleased sound that vibrates in his ribs beneath you, sharing a knowing look with Remus.
“You, me, and a pole? Doesn’t sound like a bad time at all, gorgeous.”
Remus’ steps falter as Sirius makes his way down the hall towards the girls’ change room, forcing him to speed up lest he fall behind. “Well, now, hang on a second…”
poly!wolfstar x afab!reader who tries DVP for the first time [1.1k words]

“Easy dovey, easy.” Remus breathes, a gentle hand landing at the base of your spine as his thumb brushes circles against your tailbone; Sirius’ thumbs stationed on either side of your waist mimicking the movement. “You okay?”
No one’s moving, the only sound in the room the occasional breath punching out from your lips.
“Hey gorgeous; talk to us.” Sirius reminds you, one hand moving to push some of your hair away from your eyes that was blocking your gaze from his line of sight.
“You still okay? Or do you want to stop?” Remus asks again; you go shake your head but regret it immediately when it serves to create more friction.
“No, no. I’m okay.” You try again, hyper aware of every point of contact your body has with your surroundings; your knees against the mattress, your hips hovering over Sirius’, one of your hands gripping Sirius’ shoulder (likely quite painfully) whilst the other held onto the headboard, Sirius’ hands trailing up and down your sides as his exhales puffed against your tits, and Remus’ steadying hand making itself home between the dimples of your lower back.
And both of their cocks fighting for space in your tight, drenched cunt.
“Tell us what you need, dove.” Remus coaches, not daring to move a muscle lest the tip of his length he was barely managing to insert into your hole cause you any discomfort.
You swallow thickly, taking a deep breath that seemed to make Sirius quite pleased as he sang your praises.
“That’s it, baby. Breathe.”
“Just tight.” You tell them, causing Remus to breathe out a chuckle and Sirius to groan.
“Fucking tell me about it; holy shit.”
“Too much?” Remus carries on, though there’s a tightness in his voice that tells you he’s just as pleased as Sirius is about the overwhelming warmth of having your cunt clenching around him and Sirius’ cock rubbing against his own.
“It’s…no. Not too much; just a lot.”
“Alright.” He agrees. “I’m going to pull out a bit, okay?”
You accept his warning and moan as he slides out of you slightly before ever so gently urging his way back in; Sirius nearly whimpers at the motion.
“Breathe, dove. Deep breath; talk to me.”
“I’m okay.” You whimper, feeling so incredibly full that you are almost embarrassingly close to tears. “I’m okay, I’m okay.”
“Whoa whoa, easy. Easy.” Sirius manages; his own words breathy as he fights to ignore his own ecstasy as he averts his attention to you. “You don’t need to convince us, yeah?”
“No it’s good, just…do it again, Rem.” You suggest, sparing a look over your shoulder to see the way Remus’ eyes are glued to the spot where Sirius disappears inside of you and where his own cock is trying to join. “Pull out a bit and then add some more.”
“Yeah?” He breathes, flicking his eyes up to watch you nod. “Okay, you tell me to stop, alright? Red and we’re done.”
You bring your forehead down to Sirius’ who is quick to raise his hands up to your neck as he massages you tenderly, whispering sweet words and telling you how great you’re doing and how wonderful you feel.
You feel the head of Remus’ cock catch the edge of your hole before he slowly urges himself back in; you let out a breath out that quickly turns into a moan as the sting of the stretch builds and crescendos as his cock slides against Sirius’.
“Holy fuck, the two of you feel so goddamn good.” Sirius grunts; his voice debauched and broken even though he manages to stay perfectly still and his hands remain gentle and reverent.
“You’re doing so well, dove. So well.” Remus manages with a tight voice, stopping at about the same point before he eases out again.
The feeling is so unlike anything you’ve ever felt before; the sting is so sharp that it brings tears to your eyes and leaves a tingling in your fingers and toes. You’re so unbelievably wet, both from the two orgasms they’d managed from you prior – in order to make sure you were loosened up and relaxed before even attempting this – and from how unbearably turned on you are at the breathy, desperate, erotic sounds leaving their lips.
And then the stinging starts to turn into a noticeable but tolerable burning and you swear you can actually feel your cunt simultaneously working to make room for the two boys and greedily clenching around them.
“Holy shit, holy- baby, fuck, you’re incredible.” Sirius tells you, his breathing no better than yours as you watch his chest rise and fall discordantly.
A groan leaves Remus as you feel him shift his weight on his knees; his own balance shaky as he starts to lose himself in pleasure. “Fucking ethereal is what you are.”
You go to laugh but it comes out as a cry; you’re so full, so full, so full and you’re so warm all over as every nerve ending in your body begins to thrum in synchrony.
Remus all but growls. “Fuck, Sirius, I-”
“I’m not gonna last much fuckin’ longer.” Sirius whimpers, Remus groaning again when he feels Sirius’ dick twitch inside of you for the second time.
“Neither am I.”
“Oh god, please,” you beg, “please cum.”
Sirius’ hips don’t move – he, apparently, having grown the willpower of a saint – whilst his hands grip your ribs bruisingly as he pulses inside you; orgasm seemingly never ending as he fills you up with his cum.
“Jesus.” Remus barely manages as his own hips stutter, barely managing to thrust back into you before he, too, was spilling into your cunt and over Sirius’ cock.
“Were you fucking waiting for permission to cum?” Remus asks incredulously, slowly slipping out of you which causes Sirius’ deflating cock and both of their seed to come spilling out of you too.
“‘Course I was.” Sirius scoffs derisively; chest still heaving and his eyes screwed shut. “I’m not a fuckin’ amateur.”
“Fuck, I guess not.” Remus breathes through a laugh as he runs his hand up and down the length of your spine. “Neither is our girl, eh?”
“No,” Sirius agrees quickly, stationing a hand on either side of your face as he presses gentle kisses to your cheek and jaw, “fuckin’ perfect.”
Reasons Why Treasure Should Be Allowed to Date Black & Lupin
poly!wolfstar x Crouch!reader who conducts a very important meeting [789 words]
AN: well here you go, Crouch!reader freaks (positive & affectionate). I tried.
CW: fem!reader, siblings, one mention of stroke inducing news, wishing fathers death, background rosewaterkiller, fluff
“Hello, everyone. Welcome.” You greeted primly, despite the fact that you were currently standing in your brother’s living room with his two boyfriends, Sirius, and Remus. “Thank you for attending the short meeting entitled Reasons Why Treasure Should Be Allowed to Date Black and Lupin.”
Remus and Sirius didn’t dare move, but with this, Regulus leaned further into Evan - whose lap he was already sitting in - as he muttered. “Is this really necessary?”
“Yeah, Treasure, we’re all adults here; you’re allowed to date whoever you want.” Evan offered with a snort of laughter.
“You shut your whore mouth, Rosier!” Barty spat near viciously.
Regulus shook his head with a sigh as Evan muttered with a roll of his eyes. “So…we’re in this kind of mood today, hm?”
“Well, now, hang on.” Sirius ventured, leaning back in his chair. “Let the witch speak.”
You beamed at him before quickly flipping the page of your muggle style easel-sized pad of paper.
“Reason number one,” you read aloud, slapping the paper with the tip of your wand as if it were a pointer, “Barty gets to have two boyfriends, so why can’t I?”
“That’s a fair point.” Remus offered, sharing a nod of agreement with Evan.
“She’s got you there, Bee.” Regulus responded, causing a disbelieving sound to leave his boyfriend’s lips.
“She does not have me there you sod!” He screeched before turning his attention back to you. “The difference is that my boyfriends are Regulus and Evan!”
You nodded slowly and dramatically at your brother as though he were a fussy nursery school kid who finally told you that the sky was, indeed, blue. “Right, so you’re dating a Black and a quiet, broody type-”
“Now, I wouldn’t say I’m exactly broody…” Remus tried to argue, only for Sirius to place a conciliatory hand on his knee.
“You’re definitely broody, babe.”
“Excellent point, Treasure. What’s the next argument?” Regulus prompted, earning him another smile from you and another scowl from your brother as you flipped to the next page.
“Reason number two: Barty’s not the boss of me.”
With this, Evan and Regulus began snapping their fingers as though they were at a poetry slam.
“I don’t like this game.” Barty pouted as he sat back in his chair, the picture of dejection as he crossed his arms rather petulantly.
“But wait!” You cheered, bending your knees and holding your hands out expectantly. “There’s more.”
Remus thought you looked like a car salesman in one of those muggle commercials as they told the viewers all about the various features of the newest model they were desperate to get off of their lot. He was thoroughly enamoured.
Finally, you flipped to (what Remus really hoped to be) the last page before reading it aloud. “Reason number three: dad will be furious.”
The room fell quiet at that, seeing Remus and Sirius sharing a cautious look with each other before they turned their attention to your brother; his eyes narrowed and one hand covering his mouth as he considered you.
“Explain.” He prompted, and you seemed entirely too eager to do so.
“If a poor - sorry Remus - halfblood Welshman wasn’t bad enough,” you began, shooting a malevolent smile in your brother’s direction, “I’ll also be dating, not only a Black, but the disgraced Black; a blood-traitor.”
Evan and Regulus shared a knowing look of their own before turning their attention back to their boyfriend and their boyfriend’s sister, and Remus felt…hopeful.
“I don’t think dad will be mad enough about Lupin.” Barty stated then, causing your eyes to flit over to Remus’.
Remus shared a quick look with Sirius before looking back at you, your eyebrow arched in question before he offered you one curt nod; his permission.
“He’s also a werewolf.”
With this, Regulus’ face contorted into what could only be described as a downright diabolical smile as Evan began cackling, and Barty’s hand fell away from his face in order to expose his mouth hanging ajar.
“Yeah?” You asked Barty, clearly reading his shock for what it was. “It’s good, right? This is stroke material, Bee. This might finally do him in.”
Barty’s eyes flit between you and your - hopefully soon to be official - boyfriends before he seemed to come to some decision.
“I get to be there when you tell him.”
“Deal.” You agreed quickly, holding out your hand which he quickly accepted into a formal handshake.
“He works at the ministry, though, he’ll likely already know about my status as a lycanthrope.” Remus explained ruefully, grimacing slightly at the prospect of having ruined some of Barty’s ‘fun’.
Except Barty simply let out a bark of laughter.
“So we won’t even need to preface the news! Oh gods, this is brilliant.”

The call connects on the third ring.
“Hey, love. How-”
“When are you coming home?”
Remus’ brows furrow and his hands slow, the phone tucked between his ear and his shoulder as he sifts through the essays he is yet to grade.
“Hello, my love.” He tries again, a teasing smile on his lips as Sirius huffs petulantly on the other end of the phone. “My day is going well, thank you. How’s yours?”
“Yeah, yeah, Moons. I don’t have time for pleasantries.” Sirius hisses. “When are you coming home?”
“Is everything okay?” Remus asks warily; if you’d gone into labour, Sirius’ first words would hardly have been “when are you coming home?” but more likely a “get your arse to the hospital.” As it stands, you’re nearly a week and a half past your due date; the boys are almost as desperate as you are for the babe to come.
Almost.
“No, everything is not okay.” Remus can hear Sirius walking before a door clicks shut behind him, his next sentence coming out louder now that you’re out of ear shot. “My dick is going to fall off.”
Not the best time to take a sip of coffee.
“I beg your pardon?” Remus sputters, quickly dabbing up the beads of coffee off of his students’ papers.
“My dick, Moony.” Sirius presses. “It is going to fall off. We have been trying to induce labour all bloody afternoon and I need you to tap in.”
Stuck between wanting to groan on your behalf and laugh on Sirius’ behalf, he opts to let out a sigh instead. “Sirius, I-”
“Remus.”
“Why don’t you try taking her to do some curb walking?”
“You take her to do curb walking, Remus. You take her!”
“Alright, alright. Listen,” Remus starts, taking a quick scan of his desk as he mentally prioritizes the tasks he still has left for the day, “I have a few more papers to-”
“Remus Lupin, so help me God, if you do not get your fine ass home in the next hour I am going to rip out the 33rd page of every single book you own.”
The line is swallowed up by a few beats of silence.
“You’ve lost the plo-”
“My dick is going to fall off.” Sirius counters, deadly low.
A blind and silent Western stand off takes place between the two men before Remus sighs in defeat. “I’ll leave in the next twenty minutes.”
“Smart lad, Lupin.” Is all Sirius replies before the call ends.
The baby’s eviction notice has officially been served. Remus sends a small prayer up to the labour gods that – between the two of them – they’ll be able to help you induce labour.
what about best friend Barty getting treasure a HUGE bouquet of flowers (as he does every year) and her boyfriends being stressed that they were outdone on Valentine’s Day😬

poly!wolfstar x rosier!reader who is Barty's Valentine, apparently [870 words]
CW: best friend!barty, fem!reader, rosier triplets, fluff
Remus thinks he might understand now why your brother had simply laughed in their faces when they asked for his advice regarding Valentine’s day.
And he thinks he might also understand now why Evan continued laughing every time he saw them in the hallways ever since.
Sirius, however, didn’t appear to be as understanding.
“Well…what in the sodding fuck?” He spat as he refused to sit, staring at you and Barty as the two of you sifted through the various sweets and goodies in an honest-to-Godric overflowing basket he’d procured for you. “I thought she was our Valentine.”
“She is.” Remus placated, but even he didn’t know how much he believed himself as you smiled at the very large bouquet of exotic, rare, and very difficult to acquire flowers, all in various shades of your favourite colour.
“Those aren’t even in season!” Sirius hollered. “How’d he find those?”
“He knows a guy.” Pandora responded simply as she smiled at the sight. Remus supposed he was glad someone seemed happy for you, seeing as neither Sirius nor Remus could bring themselves to feel the same.
“He knows a guy.” Sirius mimicked petulantly, staring Pandora down before pulling out a scrap piece of parchment from his book bag along with a quill and slamming it down in front of her. “Write down the guys contact information.”
“Please.” Remus amended, earning him a knowing smile from Pandora before she took the parchment and quill and wrote it down.
“They’ve been doing this for years, you know.” She explained as she slid Sirius’ saving grace over to him. “Ever since first year, they really go all out.”
“I can see that.” Sirius grumbled as he finally took his seat, looking down at the box of sweets, a plush dove, and a bouquet of charmed roses they had bought for you.
“It’s nice that she’s so…loved, yeah?” Remus tried, pressing a conciliatory kiss to his boyfriend’s head as he tried to convince himself the same. Could he really blame Barty for treasuring you the way that he did? He didn’t think so. And an excited squeal leaving your lips as you discovered a different flavour of candy at the bottom of the basket forced a smile onto his lips, too.
Could he really hate someone who made you so happy?
“I hate him.” Sirius grumbled, though Remus was certain he could see the hint of a smile on the long-haired boy’s face. Thankfully, Pandora seemed to notice, too.
“She’s very lucky to have the two of you.” She declared, but Remus noticed a very Evan-esque cunning look in her eyes that told him the statement wasn’t entirely innocent. “A weaker man wouldn’t be able to see the value of loving someone who is so well-loved.”
Sirius physically deflated as he let out a groan. “Okay, okay, Pandora. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” She smiled as Remus chuckled, rubbing Sirius’ back comfortingly.
“There you boys are!” You cheered, appearing behind them with a beaming smile on your face. Sirius did his best to match it, and Remus hoped you couldn’t see the amount of effort it was taking him.
With this, you handed each of them a small bouquet of moonflowers and asters, each adorned with a small dove-shaped charm attached to the stems.
“For my moon and my star.” You explained eagerly, tucking one shoulder up to your ear as you smiled bashfully at them.
“Asters… the Greek word for star.” Sirius murmured in awe.
“Dove, this is too-”
“Hush.” You chided, pressing a kiss to Remus’ overly hot cheek before pressing one to Sirius’ eagerly awaiting one; both boys thanking you for the sweet gift.
“This is for you, doll.” Sirius offered, suddenly sounding about as small as Remus thought he ever heard from the notoriously brash boy, hanging you their gifts which you took in your hands almost reverently.
“Oh…” You breathed, looking at the simple gifts as though they were great treasures. “They’re beautiful.”
Sirius scoffed, obviously of the belief that you were simply placating them.
Until you sniffled.
“Dovey.” Remus cooed as you shoved your face in the roses to hide the tears.
“Wha- why are you crying, dolly?” Sirius chuckled, standing from the bench in order to turn you towards him. “What’s with the tears, hm?”
“You two are so lovely.” You mumbled into the flowers; still teary, but Remus could hear the smile laced in your words.
“What have you sods done?” Barty barked, suddenly standing behind Pandora across the table. “You’ve made my Valentine cry.”
“She’s our Valentine this year, Junior.” Remus stated patiently, earning him an indignant huff from the Slytherin.
He didn’t have a chance to retort, though, when you pulled the flowers away from your face to level him with a look.
“What’d you get your boyfriend for Valentine’s day, Barty?”
A few beats of silence followed the fall of Barty’s face before he hissed a few expletives and went fleeing from the Great Hall, no doubt hoping to make it to Hogsmeade before classes started.
With that, everyone turned to look at Evan who had been sitting quietly during the whole ordeal.
“It’s okay.” He said with a shrug. “I didn’t get him anything either.”

poly!wolfstar x shy!reader who is getting hit on, much to Remus' chagrin [1.1k words]
CW: fem!reader, reader is shy as all get out, Sirius is a fucking menace, possessive Remus, fluff
“How are you being so calm about this right now?” Remus muttered; his teeth clenched as his fingers gripped the edge of the table, knuckles turning white from the effort it took to stay in his seat as he watched you from across the room, completely unawares of the turmoil you were causing.
Now, it’s important to note that there was nothing Sirius loved more in the world than he loved you and Remus. A love that might potentially come close was that of his love for mischief and trouble.
And, sure, Sirius was a generally territorial bloke; he could often be found becoming more than a touch jealous when he felt someone was encroaching on what he deemed to be his. What could trump any sort of jealousy, though, would only be his previously mentioned love of mischief and trouble.
“Moons, you need to relax.” He drawled salaciously, watching you carry on in your potion brewing apparently ignorant to the attention you were getting - from your potions partner and your boyfriends alike.
“He’s practically drooling over her.” His boyfriend hissed again, and Sirius was well aware.
Sirius had a hunch that your potions partner fancied you, and as much as that should vex him, he could hardly blame the sod, could he?
The way you turned all bashful when he praised your technique, offered you a beaming smile when the two of you concocted a perfect potion, or - and Sirius actually thought you might have simply melted into the stone floor at this one - when he deigned to tell you that you looked lovely today.
And you did - look lovely, that is. And Remus and Sirius had told you as much on your way to class, and you’d done your usual; your one shoulder migrated up to your ear as you tilted your head away from them, chewing aggressively on your lip in an attempt to fight off the smile threatening to take over your face, and responding only with simple one word answers for the rest of the trek to potions. It was adorable.
You were adorable.
It was also adorable to watch you sort of recognise that someone was complimenting you whilst also actively working to convince yourself that he was simply being nice.
And maybe he was simply just being nice.
But Sirius called bullshit.
And from the fact that he could hear Remus’ teeth grinding from across their shared potions station, it appeared that Moony did too.
“Can you blame him? She’s adorable.”
Remus made a reluctant sound of assent, slumping further in his stool as he continued to glower at your potions partner. “She’s mine.”
“She’s adorable and she’s yours, Rem.” Sirius assured him, squeezing affectionately at Remus’ knee before finally taking pity on him and making his way towards your potions station.
It was inappropriate, and Sirius knew he’d be in the doghouse for such abhorrent and public displays of affection, but he simply couldn’t help himself. Sirius sidled up behind you and slunk his arms around your middle, resting his chin on your shoulder as he pulled you in flush with his body and did nothing to fight against the smile that took over his face at the surprised yelp that escaped your lips.
“How’s the potion making going?” He asked simply, shooting a wink at your admirer who, too, flushed under his attention, though for a very different reason.
You simply hissed his name and refused to look at him.
“Hm?” He carried on unperturbed, giving your middle a little squeeze to encourage a response. “Your potions partner looks at you like you’ve hung the moon; must be going well?”
“Sirius, go away…” You mumbled halfheartedly. “You’re going to get us in trouble.”
“Professor Slughorn’s asleep, doll.” He explained breezily, snorting at your disappointed groan when you turned to find that Slughorn was, indeed, asleep. “‘Sides, I couldn’t handle Moony’s pouting any longer.”
If you were a dog, your ears would’ve perked at that, and for the first time since Sirius appeared at your workstation did you turn towards him. “Why’s he pouting?”
“Oh, you’re killing him over here, babe.”
“Me? Why?” You asked, looking genuinely concerned that you might’ve done something to upset your sweeter of two boyfriends. Sirius almost felt bad.
Almost.
Sirius tsked as if you’d asked a ridiculous question. “Come now. You’re over here being your stunning, brilliant self. I know it, Moony knows it-” his voice drops down to a whisper as he brings his lips to your ear “your potions partner knows it.”
You elbowed him in the ribs for that.
“Okay, okay. I’m sorry, but come on, look at how pathetic Remus looks, hm?” Sirius cooed in faux commiseration, turning your body towards where Remus was sitting and doing an awful job pretending to not be watching the two of you from across the classroom. “Can you go give him a kiss, please? For me?”
“Sirius, we’re in class.” You pouted, though he could tell the fight was quickly leaving you as you continued to watch your rather petulant boyfriend.
“Just a little peck, doll. A quick one; no one will notice, I’ll keep watch.” He promised, sending you off with a quick pat to your hip as he leaned against your potions table to watch.
You wrung your hands together in front of you as you stepped up to Remus’ potions station, and Sirius watched any residual ire from Remus’ frame melt at the sight of you.
“I know better than anyone how adorable she is, mate, but if you can’t stop ogling my girlfriend, can you at least stop pissing off my boyfriend?” Sirius asked your potions partner jovially; a charade of nonchalance and cordiality as he smiled plainly at him. “Otherwise I’ll let him come over here next time.”
Sirius watched the sod’s brows furrow before he stole a glance over at you and Remus, his adam's apple bobbing almost theatrically when he was met with the sight of you - distracted - helping Remus with his potion and Remus glowering at him.
“Yeah, see, you get it.” Sirius smiled brightly as he clapped him on the shoulder. “Good chat.”
And Sirius made his way back over to his own potions station to see you pressing one shoulder to your ear as you turned away from Remus and chewed on the inside of your cheek, and Remus looking far more pleased with himself than he had any business being.
poly!wolfstar x rosier!reader who ends up being a Seer [1.8k words]
A/N: concept developed with @unstablereader, based off of this post
CW: fem!reader, background jegulily, brief mention of seizures, rat-phobia & anti-rat ideologies, ganging up on Peter, siblings, name calling, Slytherin and Gryffindor rivalries, snakes
Remus noticed a slight change in you about halfway through Sirius’ long winded tale of the Marauders’ last prank, but he attributed your lack of attention and enthusiasm to a disinterest in the brand of petty mischief that the boys usually found themselves in.
But it was when you failed to rouse from your stupor at the end of his story that Remus officially began to worry.
“Doll? You okay?” Sirius finally asked, leaning forward in his place on the loveseat in an attempt to make eye contact with you. You didn’t even blink.
“She okay?” James asked cautiously as he and Lily came down the stairs from the boys’ dorm to find the two boys fretting over you.
“I don’t know…” Remus admitted, inching forward in his own chair as he reached for your wrist in an attempt to garner your attention.
Nothing.
“What’s wrong with her?” Sirius whispered; voice officially taught with nerves.
“Is it a seizure?” Lily continued, moving to stand behind the sofa that Sirius was settled on. “Like, one of those absence seizures?”
Remus hummed thoughtfully as he pulled your hand into his. “She never said anything about being prone to them. Hey, lovely. What’s-”
His question, though, was interrupted by the sound of the portrait whacking against the stone wall as it was hastily opened; Barty Crouch Junior ducking into the Gryffindor common room behind a very nervous looking Peter that he had by the collar of the poor sod’s uniform shirt.
“Don’t touch her.” He barked at Remus and Sirius, though Remus could see that the concern Barty carried for you softened some of his rougher edges.
“What’s going on?” Sirius asked quickly, though he heeded Barty’s instructions and moved to stand next to Lily and James in order to make space for the Slytherin.
“She’s alright.” Barty murmured, his tone was soft for your benefit though you still didn’t look as though you registered him. Or anything, for that matter; mouth moving ever so slightly as though you were whispering, but no sound fell from your lips.
“You’re okay, treasure.” Barty said again as he placed one hand to your chest, pressing gently against your sternum which forced a huge breath to woosh from your lips. “That’s it, deep breath. You’re alright, atta girl.”
Barty managed to convince you to take two more deep breaths, though you were still in a state as Barty began to stand from his crouched position.
“Alright, up you get, then. Let’s go find Thing Two and Thing Three, huh?”
“Junior, what’s happening?” Remus finally asked as he stood; both he and Sirius wordlessly agreeing they weren’t willing to leave your side.
“She’ll be fine once we find her siblings.” He hissed, though his ire melted significantly when your one hand migrated up to your mouth as you started to chew at your nails, before he tried again - softer this time “I’ll let her tell you, okay?”
The three boys trailed after you - whilst Lily, James, and Peter [never ones to be left out of anything] followed after them - as you slowly made your way to the Slytherin dungeons, your free hand raised and hovering over Barty’s extended one, though he never made to grab it; Barty simply let the familiar weight of his presence be enough, as though the warmth radiating from his outstretched palm was all it took to keep you steady.
They were just about to step through the door to the Slytherin common room when they met up with Regulus who was following Pandora in much the same way; your sister's eyes scrunched shut as though she were fighting off a wicked migraine.
“There’s two.” Regulus said in way of greeting, whether that be to Pandora, to you, to Barty, or even to his two partners, Remus and Sirius didn’t know; you and Pandora simply carried on over the threshold and pattered down the stone stairs.
They found Dorcas sitting on a low coffee table in front of a sofa which saw Evan hunched over, elbows on his knees as he held his hands over his ears.
Wordlessly, you and Pandora took a seat on either side of your brother, and Remus watched as you finally blinked through the haze you’d fallen under.
“Dovey?”
You swallowed thickly, blinking a few more times before you seemed to register your audience; Remus, Sirius, James, Peter, Lily, Regulus, Dorcas, and Barty all stood on the other side of the coffee table as Evan finally lifted his head from his crouched position, and Pandora opened her eyes - her gaze immediately falling on the Marauders.
“Eugh!” Evan finally let out in disgust as he hastily stood. “A rat?”
“What?” Dorcas asked, sharing concerned looks with Regulus and Barty.
“Oh my gods that’s so creepy.” You murmured around a shiver as you stood as well. “The tail.”
“Don’t be rude, you two.” Pandora chided in that gentle way of hers. “Lots of people in the castle have rats as pets. They’re very intelligent.”
“Yeah but I don’t usually have to share a meal with them!” Evan argued as he gestured at Peter, causing the Gryffindor to rear his head back.
“What are you on about?” Regulus asked carefully as he took a cautious step away from one of James’ oldest friends, but the three of you carried on.
“Typical that Black is a dog. Always seemed like a bit of a bitch to me.” Evan muttered, earning him a swat up the side of the head and a reproachful “Evan!” from you.
Remus wasn’t entirely sure what was going on, but he was entirely sure it wasn’t going to be good news for him.
“I never knew James could be so majestic.” Pandora mused aloud, tilting her head as she took in James’ form, causing the usually flaunting chaser to shy under her gaze.
“He’s a deer.” Evan spat in monotone, looking at him as though he had just grown three heads.
“They’re called stags, Ev.” You corrected him.
“Thank you.” James professed, clearly happy to have an ally for this long held debate.
“What…is going on right now?” Lily finally asked, looking between the siblings who paid her no mind and the Slytherin’s who were still looking at Peter with an air of distrust. Remus thought he was going to be sick.
“Lupin’s kind of hot, though, isn’t he?” Evan mused as he gave Remus a thorough once over, nodding his head as though he liked what he saw.
“Right?” You asked excitedly, smiling at Remus with your hands clasped under your chin as though you had found a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.
“I agree.” Pandora stated simply.
“You know what, Y/N? I get it.” Evan decided with a nod, turning to grin at you. “Not too bad.”
“Right?!” You asked again, nearly squealing in excitement this time.
Pandora hummed in agreement. “Remus is a good life partner, Y/N.”
“Black, on the other hand…” Evan muttered rather petulantly, causing a disbelieving breath to escape Sirius’ lips.
“You know what? One out of two is a good start.” You offered before Sirius could retort, and Remus almost laughed at the way the long-haired boy deflated at your sweet smile being directed at him.
“So, you’re a seer?” Remus finally managed, bracing for impact at what he already knew to be true.
“I…am. I’m sorry.” You offered, chewing on your lip as you looked apologetically at him. “It’s…complicated though, and it wasn’t only my story to tell.”
You nodded over at your siblings as you explained, and Remus found he could hardly fault you for having your secrets, especially not when you now knew he and Sirius had been keeping one of their own.
“And you saw…us?” James input then.
“Don’t be flattered, Potter, it’s not that deep.” Evan sneered at him.
“Play nice, Ev.” Pandora scolded, and though your brother rolled his eyes, he did manage to keep any other comments to himself.
“And are you…upset?” Sirius asked quietly, stealing a glance at Remus as he did. Are you scared? Disgusted? Angry? rang through Remus’ head.
“Yes.” You and Evan chorused, looking at Peter with expressions of distrust and disgust respectively, before you continued. “But no, not at you.”
“None of you?” Sirius carried on, looking at Evan who shrugged coolly and Pandora who shook her head serenely.
“Pettigrew can leave now, though.” Evan stated.
“Oh come on.” Peter whined. “I’m not that bad!”
“Do you know why no one in Slytherin own’s rats, Pettigrew?” Evan drawled, earning him a snort of laughter from Dorcas and a cackle from Barty before Regulus moved to answer for him.
“They all get fed to Mr. Smee.”
“Mr. Smee?” Peter - stupidly - asked.
With this, Barty smiled menacingly at Peter before lifting up his sleeve to expose a large ball python that was twisted around his forearm. “Mr. Smee.”
“Why did the lot of you need to start dating Slytherins?” Peter muttered as he stomped towards the stairs and out of the Slytherin common room.
“That wasn’t very nice, my love.” James chided, though his beaming smile really belittled any chagrin he was trying to imbue in his tone as he smiled at his boyfriend.
“Is…that just always on your person?” Sirius asked Barty as he eyed the snake warily.
“Why?” Regulus asked then, voice a few octaves higher as he smiled near maniacally at him. “Does that make you nervous, big brother?”
“Okay,” Sirius decided, moving to hold his hands out to you, “time to go, he’s getting scary.”
You and Remus shared a smirk as you allowed Sirius to pull you up, swaying only slightly after the ordeal but stabilising quickly with a boyfriend on each side of you.
“There’s no need to be scared, Black.” Barty taunted as the three of you made to leave.
“See? Told you; a bitch.” Evan repeated, and without hardly slowing your stride, you pointed your wand over your shoulder and cast some silent hex which caused your brother to launch nearly two feet off the sofa as he yelped in pain.
The three of you were just about back to the Gryffindor common room - a spring present in Sirius’ step after having left ‘that unpleasantness’ [the company of Slytherins] - as you turned towards Remus and pulled the collar of your robe away from your shoulder, exposing only the tail of a snake that was curled around your upper arm.
“Guess this means I ought to keep Tinkerbell a secret, then?”
And Remus took a moment to appreciate your mischievous smirk as you corrected your uniform and shot him a wink, wondering how in the world he got so lucky as to have someone who might not only come close to understanding his plight, but who also found the fact that one of his best friends could turn into a rat more disturbing than his lycanthropy.
“Sure.” Remus agreed, pressing a kiss to your temple. “Until the time is right, of course.”
poly!wolfstar x Rosier!reader who is to go nowhere near them under any circumstances [667 words]
CW: fem!reader, siblings, rivalries, chaos and fluff
“Oi! Rosier!” Sirius called, dodging a few first years who went careening by him as he made his way over to the Slytherin table. “What’s the deal with your sister?”
Evan fought (and lost) against an eye roll as the hand currently gripping his spoon tightened.
“For the last time” he seethed “I have no bloody clue what a wrackspurt is.”
“No, not that one.” Sirius dismissed with a wave of his hand. “The other one.”
Evan’s eyes narrowed at the Gryffindor. “Y/N?”
Sirius smiled. “Yeah; what’s her deal?”
“What do you mean ‘what is her deal’?”
“You know…is she single? Does she like blokes? Do you know where I can find her?”
Sirius had barely gotten the end of his sentence out when Evan’s hand slammed against the table, earning him a look of concern from Dorcas who protectively slid her bowl of porridge closer to herself.
“Why in the buggering fuck would you want to know?” Evan demanded.
Sirius offered a flippant shrug of his shoulder. “She’s fit, yeah? I’m thinking of asking her out but thought I should check first.”
“I thought you were dating Lupin!”
“I am dating Lupin!” Sirius confirmed with a wide smile just as Remus appeared behind him.
“‘Lo, Rosier. Meadows.” Remus greeted.
“Lupin.” Dorcas greeted in turn, though Evan didn’t bother with the pleasantries.
“Oh come on! What’s with you bloody Gryffindors?! Your weird friends already stole Reg!”
Sirius’ brows furrowed as he looked towards the offending weird friends currently sitting on either side of his brother at the Gryffindor table.
“Stole? Wasn’t he technically mine first?”
Evan didn’t grace that with a response, simply pushing his bowl away from himself and making to stand.
“No. Nope. Absolutely not. I cut my losses with Reg, I made peace with the Hufflepuff,” Evan stated, gesturing vaguely to Regulus and then to Pandora who was sitting nearly on top of one Xenophilius Lovegood, “but Gryffindors?! Not a fucking chance.”
“Awe, come now, Rosier, there’s no need for that-” Remus started, but was interrupted by Evan calling Barty’s name.
“You rang?” Barty drawled as he jumped down from one of the high windows, apparently having been enjoying his breakfast from above.
“They’re doing it again.” Evan complained.
“What do you mean?”
“These two fancy Y/N.” He explained petulantly as he gestured towards said two.
“Again?! What is with you Gryffindors?!” Barty screeched, turning to ask what Sirius assumed to be a rhetorical question. “First Potter and Evans ruin our Blackier wedding-”
“The what wedding?” Remus asked cautiously.
“The Black-Rosier wedding, Lupin, do keep up.” Barty spat at Remus’s interruption. “Do you know how adorable my nieces and/or nephews were going to be?!”
“When in Merlin’s name was Reg and Y/N dating?” Sirius asked then.
“They weren’t.” Dorcas offered in monotone. “Barty just likes making 10 year plans.”
“But…other people’s?” Remus tried, but the conversation was swiftly moving along.
“Go find Y/N,” Evan directed Barty, “she’s to go nowhere near these two.”
Barty’s interest seemed positively piqued at that; foiled 10 year plans forgotten. “Oh! A little game of finders keepers? Don’t mind if I do!”
And the two Slytherin’s were off.
“Are…are you boys going to do something about that?” Dorcas asked after a few beats of silence, gesturing towards the direction that the two boys had just disappeared with a flippant thumb.
“She’ll sniff those two out in a matter of minutes and avoid them like the plague.” Remus snorted as leaned forward to pluck a strawberry from the spread. “Besides, we’ve got a secret weapon.”
“Astronomy tower.” Sirius offered conspicuously as he folded the map up and tucked it back into his pocket.
“Brilliant.” Remus confirmed, offering Dorcas a salute. “Best be off.”
“Stay out of trouble, will you?” Dorcas called after them, though she knew it was a lost cause.
“You know what, Meadows?” Sirius returned as he followed Remus backwards. “I don’t think I will.”
