Team STRQ’s Vytal Festival Experience:
Tai: oh no I’ve fallen for Summer and Raven what do I do? They’re my teammates and friends I don’t want to mess things up.
Raven: oh no I’ve fallen for Summer and Tai but I can’t date either, I’ve been lying about why I’m at Beacon all along.
Summer: oh no I’ve fallen for Tai and Raven but my eyes and childhood will put them in danger.
Qrow: Vytal festival baby! Time to make some mistakes and live my best life. Atlas sucks but their students are H O T!

RWBY thoughts for the day
I like to think that Remnant has a completely different culture around dating and relationships. Specifically because our culture around marriage and such revolves so heavily around our religions, and we know not a lot of people are religious in Remnant anymore. And even if they were, it’s unlikely they’d have the same exact customs as us.
I like to think that there are no equivalents for the idea of “girlfriend/ boyfriend” or “wife/ husband” in remnant at all. There’s no line between dating and marriage, there’s no ceremony for cementing your relationship. You can put an arm band around your bicep that’s the same color as your partner’s aura to signify that you’re in a romantic relationship, but there’s no difference between “dating” and “married.” Either you’re together or you’re not. There’s no such thing as divorce, either. You just break up. Aka; Blake and Yang’s relationship, while new, holds the same weight at Kali and Ghira’s.
Idk I just feel like this makes a lot more sense timeline with for Tai/ Raven/ Summer. Cause I don’t think Raven filed for divorce papers before fucking off to live in the woods lol.
Anyway I just like the idea that remnant doesn’t need that kind of thing bc they’re living in a world filled with monsters, and the idea of Kingdoms is much newer than we tend to think. For a lot of remnant’s history, there wasn’t any real security of life, just little villages that constantly had to move bc of Grimm. They found love where they could, they didn’t have time for ceremonies. And I like to think that cultural norm carries on into modern day. Idk I just think it’s cute.
