@ people who think polyam isn’t LGBT
Discrimination against gay people was very much marked by laws against them being able to get married. That’s a victory we only won a few years ago. The LGBT+ community is a group of people who are discriminated against for their sexuality or gender identity.
Polyamorous marriage is still illegal in the United States.
This is a clear-cut and undeniable form of discrimination against polyamorous people, a form of discrimination that can be drawn back to a landmark of discrimination against gay people. Therefore, polyamorous people are LGBT, full stop. Whether they are allocishet or not. Polyam people are LGBT.
It’s really sad that this has to be explained, but there we go.
