I am disliking everything I am drawing right now, so instead I will post my 2022 year in tattoos 🥹

All inspired by ancient art based on archaeology/history and depict a lot of my ancestry, family and personal history, past, present, future, fears, aspirations, goals, mindset, etc. etc. and all depicting motifs and symbols taken from my own cultural background.

These are all pics taken on the day of the actual session, so pardon any swelling/blood/messiness on them. When the weather is better and I feel more confident body-wise, I'll post way better pics (if I take any 💀)

It seems like I got a lot done this year, but this has been something I've been wanting for a very very long time and would have been done over a few years. But you know, a global pandemic happened and it wasn't until recently that I felt comfortable enough to get these done.
