One time Akito and An were so wrapped up in analysing like one of their past performances for any mistakes and stuff b4 class that they didn't notice their teacher and then their teacher got mad at them
So like. I'm pretty sure I have the back stories for akiantoya set in my vbs spider-verse au so uhm time to make them suffer!!!
An's backstory:
her story is very much inspired by Miles's story. Just like in the pjsk story, Nagi is a big part of her character
An used to be genuinely such a happy,confident and cheerful girl—that is until the moment her Aunt Nagi, which she finds out to be the spiderman passed away in an attempt to save her. She goes into a depression episode, grieving the loss of Nagi. Aunt Nagi was someone that she looked up to very much and wanted to be exactly like her so losing her one and only inspiration definitely took a toll on her mental health—the fact that she was the cause of her death just added tons more salt to the wound. Amidst her guilt she also felt—angry. Angry that her Aunt would hide such a thing from her, she felt somewhat betrayed (basically just like in gekokujo event where she's mad that no one told her about aunt Nagi's death)
She got bit by a spider sometime after Aunt Nagi's death but it still took her quite sometime to get over her grief and finally realise +take on the responsibilities of becoming spiderman.
An gets the instinct to finally take on the role of spiderman after the realisation that instead of mourning Aunt Nagi's death while sitting around doing nothing. She could continue her legacy by putting on the mask herself and becoming the new spiderman
Random notes that I want to add
Aunt Nagi influenced An into the art of hip-hop dance, rap, singing and street performances
An's relationship with her parents is "okay" at the very least, they aren't that close but they obviously really care about each other
When she eventually joins the spider-society, she finds tons and tons of people there including—A different Nagi from another universe. She still looked a bit different from An's Nagi but still being around the other Nagi just kinda messes with her brain a bit (like how Miles was surprised to see uncle Aaron in e-42)
Akito's backstory:
His story is somewhat based off of Gwen's story (a bit later at least but still inspired nonetheless) , also—Ena and the hinomoris are a big part of his character
Akito had lived in an orphanage for most of his childhood. He hadn't known any other family other than Ena (which in this AU is about 6 years older than him). The only person that has ever actually cared about him was also Ena—so you can definitely guess that Ena is the person that he has the most respect and admiration for.
Akito hadn't known about this at first, but ever since she was like 16/old enough to get a job—she had been working her ass off trying to get money here and there so that she could get enough money to start a new life and take care of Akito herself when she is older. She had finally reached her goal when she turned about 20 years old and Akito was like 14.
They moved together in a small apartment that was within their budget. Coincidentally, their neighbors the Hinomoris are two sisters who went through almost the same story as them. The two families became close friends and sometimes they were even like one family of their own.
His life had already felt like a massive improvement from his childhood, but good things never last forever. He got bit by a radioactive spider at the age of 15, a full year of the life he had always wanted—then he had to become a spiderman. Around this time as well, was when Ena finally finished her studies to become a police officer
Timeskip to Akishiho's last year at school, there was a celebration party for all future graduates and so Akito and Shiho decided to go together.
When Akito arrived at the party, he tries to look around to find the whereabouts of Shiho—but fails to even see the tip of her nose. In the middle of his search,the ground started rumbling suddenly and then a hole appears on the wall, a giant lizard-like creature comes out and starts attacking. In an instant, Akito went into a hidden place to change into his suit.
After he deafeated the Lizard-monster, he starts to see that it sort of shifts into a human figure. And then—he realises where Shiho is.
Quickly, he started silently hoping and praying in his head that the person isn't actually who he thinks it is while he tried to save the person.
Then he sees her.
"I just—wanted to be cool like you. Akito"
He stares in horror at the girl—regretting what he had done, he tried everything that he could to save her "stay with me please, Shiho" with an obvious tone of desperation in his voice. He didn't even care that Shiho had known about his identity, the only thing that mattered was to save her.
Her last words came out just before she could I have her last breath "it's ok—everything is eventually going to be okay".
After he realises that he just can't get help in time for her her hugs her body for the last time
"This is the sound of the police! Drop the body and show yourself" a familiar voice calls out. He manages to escape just before Ena could cuff him.
And now Ena thinks spiderman is the one who killed Shiho and hates him more than anyone blah blah blah I'm tired
Random notes that I want to add
Akito learned to play the drums so that he could play them with Shiho who was on her Bass guitar
Akito taught Shiho how to do graffiti art and both of them liked to explore to try to find the most hidden places and make their art there
Shizuku and Ena had something going on between them, Akito and Shiho could tell and sometimes joked about Shizuku and Ena getting married and them being the couple's "children"
Shiho was Akito's first actual friend and vice versa
No this wasn't an excuse to make shinonomori siblings content wdym
Touya's Backstory:
His story isn't really inspired by any spider person, I just took his canon pjsk story but made him a spiderman. The Tenma's play a significant role in his story
His parents never focused on him or gave him much love from when he was little. The only thing that they wanted out of him was to raise another professional classical musician in the family.
Luckily, he was friends with two very nice siblings. The Tenma's treated him like their own, he felt way more comfortable and at home with them compared to his actual family.
Skip to sometime after he gets bitten and becomes spiderman bcz I'm getting bored and lazy. Somehow he got into a situation where he had to choose between Saki or Tsukasa to save and he ended up having to save Saki and then Saki is sad that Tsukasa died and isolates herself like what An did when Nagi died and then Touya is sad that he can't have his friends again because of that decision, Tsukasa is oofed and Saki is sad that Tsukasa is oofed ok yippee I'm done
(Sorry this was very half-assed but I wanted to at least get the premise of his story out, might fix it later but I'm way too tired now)
