We’re thinking about dropping treats early. However, we know some of y’all were using the original date as a deadline, and we know some of y’all are focusing on other things, so we’re gonna leave it up to you!

We’re going to break this down a bit, to cover all the questions!

Sure you can!
A treat is one of two things: Filling a prompt besides the one you chose as your main fill, OR filling a prompt that was not assigned to you. People who weren’t in the swap can create treats for swappers if they like the prompts they see!
also, if you want to fill more than one of the prompts you got - say you got three you liked, then would you fill the one as your main fill, and then post the other two as treats?
Yep! We would ask that you finish your main fill first thing, and post it to your assignment.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember to post your treats to the Polyswap Presents 2018 Collection! We’ll be creating it later today, and your work won’t count as an actual Polyswap treat unless it’s posted to that collection specifically.

The results are in, and we’ve made our final decisions on how treats will be handled!
Because July 2nd and Until Assignments tied, we factored in the next highest votes—mid-June. At least 14 people want prompts released some degree of early, so prompts will be released on the deadline to default, July 2nd!
This one, with a clear winner, was easier! Treat authors will be anonymous for a couple days after treats drop.
Here’s a quick look at what our Treats Schedule might look at, before we fully update it:
June 10: Polyswap Presents Collection Created (mainly for Swappers who have completed their assignments and wish to double-gift)
July 2: Deadline to Default, Prompts Released
July 13: Assignments Due, Deadline for Pinch Hitter Sign Ups
July 20: Polyswap Derse and Prospit Collections Open
July 27: Derse and Prospit Authors Revealed, Polyswap Presents Collection Opens
July 30: Polyswap Presents Authors Revealed

How would you like us to handle treat author reveals? A lot of people have told us that they work better with a deadline, so we’ve decided to have something similar for treats this year! YES, YOU CAN STILL SUBMIT A TREAT AFTER THE DEADLINE HAS PASSED. Treats will be revealed the day after fill authors are revealed.
