So @mcnuggyy blessed the world with 3 poly trio art meme poses and I have needed this for so long I can't deny, so decided to kick it off with my current main poly trio of my ocs Skye, Valentino, and Piper, named in order of appearance.These three are rather busy both in work and in hobbies almost always, so I wanted to draw them getting some well earned rest. 😂 This is the first time I've drawn all three of them together, and I'm so excited to draw them more, just needed the right pose prompts. 😁I'm totally down for suggestions from the art meme both of poses and any poly triads*!(*involving adults who are all consensual and aware of the poly, and none of them X vs. Y for Z's love, triangles, just doesn't do nothing for me, sorry.)

Primary Trio Friendship + Polytrio Romance!

(Not including the Post-Time Skip for... reasons) [Maybe if they got together there’ll be no three-way war].

As Friends:

Claude has really odd nicknames for Edelgard and Dimitri.

“Strawberry=Edelgard”, “Blueberry=Dimitri” and for himself “Pineapple”.

Dimitri is happy to go by those nicknames, but Edelgard is not getting herself involved. 

But one time when she did refer to Claude as Pineapple and Dimitri as Blueberry Claude flipped with excitement.

The three will sit together to discuss about their country, politics and where they see themselves in the future.

Dimitri is not good at hiding his feelings from Edelgard and Claude. He’s down? It’s obvious to the other lords. 

They have friendly rivalry when it comes to competing Houses.

“Careful Edelgard; I might convince an Eagle to become a Deer ;)”-Claude. “How odd, I thought that Lorenz was tempted to join the Eagles.”-Edelgard.

Edelgard has a dry sense of humour that Claude finds hilarious while Dimitri sometimes can’t tell if she’s serious or not.

Sometimes Claude may not be motivated to do his work so Edelgard and Dimitri force him to by sitting by his side and sharing notes.

They are in charge of making sure all the pets in the monastery are taken care of and well fed (sometimes you’ll see lines of cats and dogs following them).

They all spar with one another, and are not afraid to hold back (sometimes Byleth has to intervene because they get too into it).

Dimitri would ask someone to make trinkets for his friends. This includes a soft toy black eagle and a yellow deer.

Edelgard will not admit that she finds that adorable and touching (Dimitri and Claude know that she likes it).

Sometimes Dimitri will bring his trinket-a blue lion-to use as another voice, i.e. “you’re looking happy today Edelgard!” as the toy, with Dimitri being all “I agree Blue Lion!”.

Claude joins in on this immediately with Yellow Deer.   

Edelgard has the biggest grin on her face every time they use their toys upon her.

As Polyamorous:

Claude and Dimitri love running their fingers through Edelgard’s hair; it’s so long and silky!

Claude loves getting kisses on both his cheeks from Edelgard and Dimitri. Always puts the biggest grin on his face.

Cuddle pile! They always swap who’s in the middle.

Dimitri loves holding Edelgard and Claude’s hands and leaning into their touches. 

Surprise kisses from Claude and Dimitri to Edelgard (she’s studying? Kiss her on the cheek) just to see her get flustered.

Claude is the best cook, and thus prepares his two favourite lords’ meals.

Goodluck kisses for exam and mock and/or real battles.

Behind the scenes ‘I love you’ from all three of them.

Dimitri and Claude melt inside every time Edelgard has to get on her tiptoes to kiss them.

Dimitri brings flowers for the two. 

They look like a clustered mess when sleeping together. 

Good morning kisses in bed are a must (especially towards anyone feeling grouchy from being kicked by someone).

They always compliment each other and it’s always sweet, regardless if it is sometimes corny.

“You’re as elegant as an eagle, Edelgard.”-Dimitri. “...Thank you Dimitri...”-Edelgard. Claude is just laughing.

Edelgard makes it clear that she wishes for the two to grow beards when they’re older. Will make them more attractive.

Tim sat down on the old wooden porch. Even though the rain was pouring, he was soaking wet along with the porch. He didn’t mind though, as it almost completely blended into his mood. It was so late, around four a.m., and he was so tired. He just couldn’t sleep, though. He didn’t want to wake up to hear all of his roomate’s voices getting ready for college becuase they could afford it. Tim couldn’t. He was living off of his friends for the fifth time this year. He doubted he could ever get a job with all of his mental disablities.

He knew Jay would be up at five, since he always had a nightmare then. Tim didn’t know why, other than Jay missing his medicine lately. He moved his leg up on the porch to rest on the step. He could feel the burn on his legs from rubbing against the jeans that were now getting attatched to his skin due to the water. He didn’t mind though, but he knew there’d be some lines on his skin from the tattered pattern.

He sighed, staring up at the heavy clouds as they poured out the water onto the earth. His body involuntary shivered, and he reached for the cigarette box sitting upright. He casually pulled out one, lit it, and let it lay against his lips as he breathed in the smoke. It was calming to watch as he puffed out the smoke, it floating away into the rainy night just like his worries. He guessed it was around five since he heard the creaking of the front door.

There came Jay’s groggy but quiet voice, “What are you doing up?” He asked before yawning loudly and taking a sit on Tim’s other side.

Tim leaned back slightly more, peering over at Jay’s face. He looked so adorable and peaceful when he had just woken up, as the worlds problems hadn’t reached his tired brain yet. It was the best thing Tim could wish for, silently hoping Jay would always be like that. After taking notice that he was pausing, Jay slightly waved his hand at Tim’s face. Looking back at Jay’s eyes, Tim gave off a exaggerated sigh. “Couldn’t sleep. It was nice out.”

Jay nodded slowly, shifting himself to lean on Tim. Taking this as a cue, Tim slowly sifted his hands through Jay’s hair. The boy being petted practically melted in the feeling. The other male smiled softly, continuing to scrape his nails against Jay’s head. He didn’t know why Jay loved that so much, but it didn’t matter. It made him happy is what mattered.

Jay yawned again, more slowly and sedated this time. Good thing pettings always made Jay slip into a peaceful slumber. Tim on the other hand just maneuvered Jay into his lap, being careful not to wake him, and covered him up with his coat. He made sure to lay Jay’s hat on his head to block out the sun since it was beginning to rise. Tim could live with this if he always got to see Jay’s sleepy smile and being able to lull him to bed.

“Goodmornin’.” Came Brian’s voice as Tim felt a nudge of a foot against his head. “Have ya both been sleepin’ out here lately?” Jay slowly looked up, giving a soft shrug and a smile. Brian pouted in return, crossing his arms and letting his lip quiver like he was about to cry. “H..How come nobody invited me?” His acting skills absolutely shattered the other’s hearts, and they pulled Brian down into the embrace. Brian gave a smile once again, quickly smooching both of their heads before they all passed out on the wooden porch.

They wouldn’t be too late to pack their things for college on monday anyway.
