Harold hadn’t been able to stop thinking about Paislee since the night he saw her at the bonfire. She had been completely wasted and made a scene that Harold had to be apart of. He’d been the one to storm off after saying some hurtful things and he felt guilty. It had been the first time he’d seen Paislee in so long and just seeing her made him feel somewhat okay. At least she was alive. She didn’t seem very...well though. Why did she feel the need to drink that much? Though Harold wasn’t much better at coping with things. He needed to see her again though and the only way he was going to be able to do that was go to her. So, he went to her and Meg’s place. Harold hated how they were friends and lived together. He waited outside in his car, hoping that she would come outside eventually. He’d gotten there early enough to catch her before she left, but not so early that he’d had to wait for hours on end. He knew her routine and he knew what time he should be there. When she finally came outside Harold moved his car up to the end of her driveway and rolled down the window. “Paislee, baby, come here.” It was such a habit to call her pet names and he probably would never stop. “I just want to talk to you. Just get in we can go for a ride.” He looked at her and gave her a pleading smile. “I just need to make sure you’re okay after the other night.”
