That Balto post made me cry a little and now I want to watch it right now

I love Balto SO fucking much, it was like the defining movie of my childhood, everything about it was the bestest, i remember in grade 1 i had a bunch of other kids playing around and i convinced them to reenact bits of it, it was extremely epic man.

but god yeah, i bet you could find it online? i haven’t seen it since i was like even younger than you, but i love it so much, fuckign wow

The frickign hilarious polar bears that couldn’t swim, muck and luck, right? and they adopted the goose, boris? as their dad and the goose was like the dorky father figure, i remember the one scene where he was trying to cheer balto up and i nearly peed myself laughing everytime and ah jenna and all the other dumb pack dogs, oh and the scary one i forget his name

and balto was such a wonderful, cool character, i loved him so much, and all the intense adventure things out in the wilderness were so intense and well done and the bear and the ice and the medicine 

OKAY BUT LIKE MY FAVORITE PART IS WHEN THEY’RE SEPARATED AND IT’S A SNOWSTORM AND IT’S REALLY BLEAK AND THEN BALTO’S REMEMBERING WHAT BORIS HAD TOLD HIM ABOUT A DOG NOT BEING ABLE TO MAKE IT ALONE BUT MAYBE A WOLF CAN AND THEN HE STARTED HOWLING AND THEN THAT HUGE WHITE WOLF CAME ALONG OUT OF THE SNOW AND IT WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER WAWAO

 and the real people on the beginning of the story, and then the end when the old lady’s revealed to be GRANDMA ROSIE??! FRICK, THAT GOT ME EVERYTIME
