fun fact: grayspirit’s warrior name was inspired by their frequent visions of the ghosts of shadedclan cats, which plagued them throughout their apprenticeship. so froststar basically named them for their ptsd. considering that she was their mentor, i’ll let you guys decide if that’s cruel or not

i’ve posted a couple of moons now, but i’ve had the whole lore of PondClan written out since moon 0. so here’s a bit of a lore drop for you guys (i’ll try to keep this a bit vague to leave room for speculation)

- despite PondClan being a relatively new Clan, their territory and surrounding Clans have existed for countless generations

- before PondClan, there was ShadedClan, which lived alongside their neighbors since the beginning of the Clans

- however, high tensions caused ShadedClan to leave the territories, but they didn’t last long in isolation. the survivors of ShadedClan travelled back to the territories to create PondClan in Shaded’s honor

NOTE: not all of the Pond founders are from ShadedClan. in fact, it’s only really a few of them. i’ll let y’all figure out who :)

a FULL lore drop will be out eventually, but until then, i’ll be dropping little hints here and there. i don’t like infodumping all the fun stuff all at once, i gotta keep my cult following on their toes- oh and also. feel free to send asks about lore, i’ll still try to be vague, but if someone guesses something correctly i will reveal it!!
