I had been up to my neck last week so I forgot about this voice-memo until I did a backup today:
The real-time thought was of Günther Klum picking up the phone to tell his daughter she’d been in America too long before deciding maybe he reacted too quickly. Putting it back on the receiver, proud enough, 14 seconds later.
Quite possibly the finest of all SNL sketches. "I guess you could say I 'sexied it up' for you--no extra charge!" It was formative in so many unfortunate ways.
