The feline woman was frightened, thrown at the feet of the other in shackles that seemed to weigh her ankles and wrists down even though they were made of light metal, runes carved into them to prevent her magic from being a viable means of escape. The smell of incense in the room was overpowering to her sensitive nose, and all she saw in front of her were a pair of feet.
“An exquisite prize,” She heard her captor say, but her head was dizzy with the smell of her own blood, leaking from cuts and gashes in her body from a fight that wasn’t even hers. The closing of doors indicated that they left, and she finally gazed up at the one in front of her through dark tresses, her green eyes fierce, but tired and frightened.
“You do not own me,” She mumbled quietly, blood dripping from her cheek onto the ground. Her breathing was ragged and she tried to contain it, tried not to give away any signs of fear, no matter how futile. “Nobody owns me...”
