we have to talk // hailey & melanie

Hailey threw her disc-man on her bed and got up. She hated this. Not knowing what was going on. What'd Melanie do? What if Melanie was convinced again that she and Archie were dating? Melanie knew Hailey had Kendo, but that wouldn't stop her from thinking that. Hailey felt like she was at a crossroads. She could go to Melanie and tell everything that had happened and why she was ignoring her for the past couple of days. Or she could go to Archie and try to comfort him. Neither of it would work. Hailey knew they were both still angry about everything. And even though Hailey wasn't there, she could already imagine what had happened. Hailey cared about Archie, but ignoring Melanie was a bad idea in the first place. She felt too guilty about it, so she chose to grab her jacket and try to talk to Melanie. Hailey felt a little anxious to go her house. What if Archie spots her?

As soon as Hailey reached Melanie's house, she impatiently knocked on the front door. "Melanie, open up!" After a couple of knocks, the door finally opens, but Melanie tries to shut the door as soon as she saw Hailey standing there. Meanwhile Hailey's foot stopped the door from closing. "Wait Melanie, we have to talk."
