Karine is exhausted, she’s also uncomfortable. They’re not sure what it is, but they said it could be a number of things, but gods the weight. It’s always her weight they keep coming back to and she is frustrated.
“My weight is fine, just tell me what the fuck is wrong~” She growls, barely keeping herself from just going off on them.
“Yes well, there can be many factors, but being overweight, it makes it especially hard for us to determine. You’ve also, from our medical records also had a few miscarriages?”
“And one full term. my apologies Ms. Bisset,” They say. She just sighs, laying back down with a huff of annoyance, maybe a tinge of sadness. “However due to this, we’re taking every precaution, and so while we would recommend losing weight, right now it’s not really applicable, as it will not help the child. You also have a history of drug abuse as well? Have you been smoking or drinking?”
“No. When i found out I was pregnant, I quit.” ....god could they not?
“Well for now, we’ll give you some mild pain relievers. We’ll run a few more tests, and hopefully, by tomorrow we can have answers.”
With that the doctor leaves and the nurse takes her vitals, makes sure she is comfortable before also leaving. Now alone she just sighs, rubbing her hands all over her face and gives a small groan of annoyance. Fuck this. Fuck Ellis for getting her pregnant and fuck herself for letting him con her into drugs and a one night stand...again.
“I want to know what is wrong, is that so bad?” She asks to no one in particular.
