Chapter Title Page

Yet another reference from that Ghost game called "Escape the Ministry". I just loved those giant Papa statues in the middle of the room. Omega is naturally positioned near to the Papa III statue. Posture not attentive to it but still a tail wrapped around it, representing he's with him but doesn't talk to him yet. Copia is positioned in between the Papa I and Papa II statues, representing his conversation with them in this chapter.

Character Sheet

Okay, so I'm not going to do this for every chapter, but I thought it would be fun this time around to celebrate the first chapter to the new book. Plus I had an extra page leftover so I thought, why not? It shows and explains the characters in this chapter and what we know about them so far. Terzo's photo is the only one not looking forward to represent him not being conscious yet. I hate Alpha's coloring but by the time I regretted it I had to commit. The damage was done.

Good morning, Secondo 🌞

Secondo wakes up from where we left off in Chapter 10. The translation to the Italian is: "You'll fucking regret it! Damn bastards!" Copia was already speaking to Primo a bit when Secondo woke up, but don't worry. We didn't miss much.

Alpha's Contact Photo in Omega's Phone

If you're an Alpha fan, you know that pose. We love it. And we all know Alpha took that photo himself and set it up on Omega's phone as his own contact photo. Classic Alpha.

Terzo's Nightstand

We see Omega's phone is on the nightstand when Alpha calls. But there are some flowers in a vase and a "Get Well Soon" card. Don't be shy. You can peek in the card a little. Yes. All the ghoul waiting back at the den signed the card. Safe to assume the flowers are from them as well.

"Who's Scuffy Lookin'?"

Omega's looking a bit rough here. Probably because he hasn't left the room since Terzo was brought in there! Sure, maybe Alpha brought him a clean shirt once. But damn… he probably stinks.

Terzo's Face

When Omega is away from him, his face is scrunched up. When Omega is next to his side again, he relaxes. Terzo unconsciously knows Omega is by his side.

Water Ghoul - Tori

I didn't put her on the character sheet because she techically only has one panel this chapter and it's a flashback. But yes, since she is a Water Ghoul, and blood is about 80% water, she was able to stop the bleeding while Nurse Elizabeth healed the injury as much as possible.

"You're a Papa, Harry…!" 🧙‍♂️

Ah yes, the paints are permanent now… Same thing happened with Nihil, Primo mentions. Nihil's always shown with his Papa paints and I always thought it even looked like they aged with him!

Last Couple Pages

I don't know… I love overthinking sometimes and adding extra shit in when I don't have to… But as Copia is walking down the hall to see Terzo, he passes by a room labeled the "Office". A little nod back to the first chapter title in Book 1, since this is the first chapter of Book 2. Also in Chapter 1, "The Office", was where we saw Copia first having flashbacks of holding Terzo's head. We get that again here. Don't give me drugs I'm bad enough without them

The first thing Terzo did when he got to my island was faceplant... I can't...

Then he got a crush on my mii cuz I helped him up

Then he got a hallucination of a tiny version of himself lying on the table seductively with a fried egg on its stomach...

And that was just the demo, wtf am I getting myself into?

A quick stop at CVS

Terzo slowly wandering along the pharmacy aisles; his hands behind his back as he scans boxes and tubes. At first glance, he might look lost, you’d be tempted to approach him and ask if he needed any help, but no, he knows what he’s doing (he really doesn’t, but let him do it).

Usually there would be at least a couple of roadies taking care of those kinds of chores, but Terzo likes to take matters into his own hands every now and then, so there he is, picking up a pack of condoms, murmuring, “Who the hell used the XXL?” The old lady to whom he directs the question probably doesn’t even care. “Not me for sure…” he comments, “I don’t use condoms, eheh!” And the lady just grimaces and quietly moves away from him.

Terzo sometimes forgetting that those jokes only work on stage.

So he goes back to evaluate all the varieties of pain relievers, anti-inflammatories, aspirins… the beloved ibuprofen. The sisters back at the Ministry taught him that it is perfect for pretty much anything, especially for period cramps. Not that he knows much about that last case, but he trusts his girls.

Terzo not even realizing that he has ended up in the women’s aisle, where he finds a pair of large black sunglasses with a pretentious amount of rhinestones. “Ah,” he says after trying them on. They’re cool, so off they go in his bag.

He really needed a pair of shades. His eyes have been playing tricks on him lately.

Eye drops— that’s what he was forgetting.

Happy with his choices, Terzo quietly walking to the check-out.

He needs to move; he’s got a lot to do today.

Ghostober Day 3: Sacrifice

Ritual interrupted: Terzo

Everything was going well, not a cue missed, or a single sour note.

Hellfires, Terzo hadn’t even stumbled or missed a lyric!

The ritual was winding down, and they were a chunk into ‘Monstrance Clock’ when Papa caught movement out of the corner of his eye.

It was swift, and unexpected.

Suddenly the mic cut off, and multiple sets of arms grabbed him, dragging him offstage.

The ghouls looked on in confusion, Terzo fighting and screaming outrage.

Omega moved, heading after him, until he saw Nihil coming onto the stage…

Even the Fans were dismayed and upset.

Terzo searched the crowd as he was dragged from sight, eyes wide, frightened, searching.

But it all went too fast, and he was suddenly backstage.

“You’re fired as Papa, Terzo. You cannot manage the workload and your touring, so we’re removing you from both duties…”

Imperator’s voice was harsh, angry and disappointed.

Terzo cared so much for his followers, and his stage life. This had to be a stupid joke.

“Let me go out there, tell them something….”

She cut him off.

“No. You’re going back to the ministry. You’re no longer papa. You are only Terzo…. And Terzo. Is. Worthless.”

She left him in his dressing room, locking him in.

And relished, as she left, the sound of his sobbing.

All he could do, was stare at the door, tears ruining his paints, and try to hope that the bitch wouldn’t hurt his ghouls, or his most loyal followers for this.

Or…

He stood, and tried to pull open the locked door.

“If you fucking hurt Alastor or Omega I will fucking KILL you!!!”he screamed between sobs.

He ended up choking on his tears, an exhausted heap by the door.
