Popoweek Day 2: Look

It’s pretty much canon that Yurio choreographed his exhibition the night before and my hc is that Georgi overheard Yurio and Otabek and then offers to do his makeup for the exhibition gala (since my other HC is that Lilia would normally do it for Yurio but he can’t let Lilia know he changed the exhibition) and Yurio can't really say no to Georgi cuz reasons (maybe it's his way of comforting him over Anya haha).

Summary: There were many days like that one Yuri was just having, where he had the lounge all for himself, since Mila was out, and Georgi was holed up in his room. Not many of them, though, ended up with Georgi blasting off sad music. To be honest, it wasn’t the sad music that told Yuri that something was off; Georgi was the kind of person that revelled in this sort of music, and Yuri could relate, although he himself still preferred louder, more energetic music. No, it was okay, really, when he heard HIM’s Join Me In Death, or Within Temptation’s What Have You Done; he was slightly concerned when it turned to Welcome To The Black Parade; but it was when he heard My Immortal for the third time in a row that he understood something was up.

Georgi was stuck listening to Evanescence, and that could only mean that there was definitely something going on. It had been Georgi’s coping mechanism since he was a teenager and he had carried it with him through the years – even ten years after – because if a coping mechanism worked, why on Earth should you switch to anything different?

My second fic written for the Georgi Popovich week, Day 3: Love life! Also, this is standalone, not part of Vodka Tonic. It was really fun taking a run at these two from a different perspective. :)

After the Trophée de France gala, Christophe takes Georgi to a party. Georgi tries to drown his relationship sorrows with anonymous sex but things don't quite work out that way.

Christophe looks him up and down. "Not quite what I was expecting." And maybe there's a spark of actual surprise underneath his usual purr.

He's exactly what Georgi was expecting, hair precisely tousled and a too-tight green shirt that, based on far too many Instagram pics, he'll lose within half an hour of getting there.
