Words
They captivate. Communicate. They enrich and entrench.
Giving a voice to the voiceless.
They swirl inside, while feelings pound. Seaching for meaning and a distinct place, a home.
Words, you give meaning and a sound foundation. An explicit explanation for what the soul constantly cries.
To the reader you say, never be afraid to speak. Your voice is powerful. It is needed. It exposes what is, and can demolish what should not be.
Take heed however in what you say.
And use your power wisely.
For as the proverb says “death and life are in the tongue”.
Don’t forget this because words stick, and stay imprinted, and can inflict pain. Words can echo again and again torturing their victims, shackling, inprisoning the mind, body and the soul. It seeks on their prey.
But words can be used in a powerful way to heal the broken, diminish pain.
It can bring justice. It can change the world.
