When I tell people I used to sit on the beach before curfew and completely dissociate from my day, my life, and stare out at the water while the moon shimmers across the water all the way to the shore, this is what I was talking about. Sometimes it would get so big it would touch the water and shimmer all the way down to my feet. Made me feel like I could touch the moon. It was the most peaceful I had ever been in my life. Even with everything I was dealing with back then. I hope I can get back there one day and experience it again.
