cold day ... lately that’s all it’s been. cold, cold days &&. dull grey skies. winter was full of those. he wasn’t sure what else he expected. ( sun shine &&. chirping birds ? not a chance. ) he meekly tugged at the sleeves of his jacket, pulling them down further over his arms that had sprung with goosebumps. ( the clouds looming over him made him feel like they were taunting him. ) he took in a breath, exhaling slowly to watch the s m o k e escape cold lips. that freezing, huh ? it encouraged him to further retreat into the safety of his jacket, the only thing providing any morsel of warmth. he steadily breathed in through his mouth in time with his unhurried gait, trembling hands folded at his midriff. he wanted to get something warm to eat ( he was out of ramen. such is the life of a college student. ). it would fend off the nippy temperatures &&. restore some semblance of motivation in him to get homework done. because honestly, in this weather, all he wanted to do was sit around &&. marathon hugh jackman movies. when he reached the store &&. his hand hovered over the handle of the door, he briefly cast a sideways glance at the line of machines pressed against the building. hues graced a figure crouching down in front of the gashapon, &&. there was something strangely immediate about it. for some reason, it felt familiar. that back. the hair. but why ? he couldn’t put his finger on it. but maybe if he saw their face, maybe he’d know ? maybe he saw them in class once or something. that’s probably it. just a classmate. ‘ those things are worthless, you know. you’re just wasting your money. ‘
