anyhow pleased to report that new pcp is very supportive of my goals of getting back on the adderall and the levothyroxine but staying off the lurasidone. and judgement free zone about me being all kinds of queer
and she did a blood draw to check for any other issues. and we talked about next steps to see if there's anything else she can do for the chronic joint pain. very pleased. and cautiously hopeful
OH! she let me turn off the overhead florescent lights and open the window blinds. AND HER EXAM ROOM HAS A RECLINER CHAIR.
Okay, I meant to post this on the day, but five days ago I logged in and saw four really lovely reblogs on my Aurora x Captain Hook manips. It honestly made my day! I don't usually get this kind of positive engagement from people other than my beloved moots, so this was such a nice surprise! 🥰
hiii! I wanted to share a really good thing that happened yesterday and I didn’t have anyone else to tell so I hope you enjoy hearing about positive trans experiences :D
my birthday was yesterday and after almost a whole day of being “the birthday girl” and growing into a fine young “woman” I got a text from one of my friends who know. They said “How is the birthday boy doing?” I don’t know how they knew I needed to hear that but needless to say I much appreciated it and started crying bc I realized that it was the first time I’d been called that
Anyway this all goes to say that you will get there! Someday you will be able to safely be out and you will find those friends who care how you are doing on your birthday 🥳
Hey my boy!
Firstly, happy late birthday :) I love positive experiences, so your experience is totally welcome here. It seems that you have some awesome friends, who see you as a boy which is great. And you are completely right when you say that it gets better, because it does and some day we can all be out and proud.
Have a great day and thanks for sharing!
Every Saturday and Sunday I go to the clinic to do an alcohol test - because being controlled is the only thing that keeps me sober (this plan was my idea, yes, I got praised for this by the staff 🙌🏻). So today when I went there, I asked to have a talk and confessed that I relapsed. I'm proud that I was honest. Even prouder that I stopped the relapse. I didn't continue drinking today - I genuinely didn't want to which is new.
The nurse thanked me for my honesty and offered that next time I can come over before I relapse and stay the night. Not sure if I'll manage to do that but I can try and it's good to have this option.
Happy Friday!!! So I feel like this comic is based on a true story. Lol
I actually have 2 cats and one of them (her name is Olive) seems to hang around me quite a bit. But I feel like she’s mostly about the food, not so much with the love. Lol
I hope everyone has a great weekend! And even if your cat doesn’t believe in you, I DO! 。◕‿◕。
I am awfully sentimental.
Of books, belongings,
people, places.
It matters very little
how positive or negative
the experience was.
If it shared something meaningful
time in my life, I'll
have trouble letting go.
