Headcanon;
There are two demons that like to hang around Mary and John.
The little balls of smoke try to possess the two whenever they can.
Mary's demon is named Ray, she used to be a witch and she's a bit snotty, likes to torture her host. She is one of Alastair's lankies.
John's demon is named Pox, he sold his soul to a demon way way way when and is a little odd, but likes to please, and a little too nice for a demon. Pox is one of Crowley's least favorite lankies..
