SHIP EXCLUSIVITY — FAQ
Q: Are you ship-exclusive with canon characters? ➤ Not by default, but I can be. If my RP partner also prefers exclusivity, then yes !!! I’ll match that energy and be romantically exclusive with their version of the character. I won’t have multiple romantic ships with the same character if I’ve agreed to be exclusive with one partner.
Q: What if I don’t want exclusivity? Can we still ship? ➤ Absolutely! If you’re not exclusive, then I won’t be either, and we can still explore a romantic dynamic freely. I only practice exclusivity when it’s mutual and discussed.
Q: What happens if one partner doesn’t want exclusivity, but the other does? ➤ I’ll respect the partner who does want exclusivity, if I’ve agreed to it with them. That means I may pause or shift other romantic threads with that character (especially in the same verse), and let previous partners know in a kind and transparent manner.
Q: Can you still write with the same canon character platonically if you’re exclusive with someone romantically? ➤ Yes! Just because I’m romantically exclusive doesn’t mean I won’t interact with others writing that character. I’m still down for friendships, rivalries, enemies, and found family, just not romance if I’ve agreed to exclusivity with someone else.
Q: Does this apply to OCs too? ➤ OCs are a bit different for me. Since every OC is entirely unique, with a distinct personality, a different story, and a different energy, I don’t treat them like "multiple versions" of the same muse. So I’m generally open to exploring multiple romantic OC pairings, as long as each connection is distinct and organic.
Q: What if I want to be your exclusive ship for a canon character? ➤ Just talk to me about it! If we’ve got chemistry and a dynamic that feels strong and sustainable, I’d love to discuss exclusivity. I don’t force it, but I do genuinely enjoy having mains when it’s organic and agreed upon.
That said, I do have a few personal boundaries: ➤ I need there to be some level of ongoing presence. I’m not asking for 24/7 activity (AT ALL), we all have lives !!!! But please don’t ask for exclusivity and then vanish into the sunset, never to be seen again, LMAFO. ➤ I also need to feel good vibes with mun, not just muse. I won’t agree to exclusivity if we’ve barely spoken or there’s no friendship forming. I like to build ships on real connection and comfort, not just aesthetics or demand. It should feel natural, earned through time, chemistry, and mutual energy. Not rushed or one-sided.
ALSO HUGE NOTE BC TUMBLR CAN SUCK ASS: But if you ever make something for me and I DO NOT LIKE IT/ENGAGE— that 100% means i did not see it !!! I would never ignore something made for me, whether it's a starter or an answered ask, a dash game, etc. Please, do not feel shy about reaching out to me. I don't want your beautiful work/time to go unseen :'(
