Hey @inkdemonapologist and @inkyvendingmachine look at the beautiful nightmare product of a conversation I had with @whatyouwantedmetosee regarding Sillytime Sam.
The goats are talking!!! (and one of them isn’t particularly happy)
So inkdemonapologist's Norman doesn't like the dark after escaping the studio. That got me wondering if yours has any similar issues as well? How affected is you Norman post studio besides the obvious?
Not all Normans are built the same. While Escape AU Norman has acquired a dislike/fear of the dark, Out of Bounds Norman still retains his affinity for it. This of course doesn't mean he's not affected...In fact he's not coping too great. He just has gained enough sense back that he tries to be graceful about it. My Norman is very family-oriented. His kids were his life, and working to provide for them was the only reason why he stayed at the studio (a sentiment Sammy could relate to and respect). At the end of the day it didn't matter if the people were weird and rude, or that he couldn't stand Joey...Norman could just go back home and spend time with his family. Now? Now he's missed their childhood completely and he doesn't want anyone to see him in the state he's in. He's volatile and tends to disassociate if he's not actively doing anything (which is hard because of his added size and clumsy claws), plus he gets startled easily and tends to lash out (he's lost his hearing completely so walking up behind him is a sure-fire way to get decked or slashed).
The few comforts he has anymore are Sammy and Susie, Cameraman and Lottie, his service dog Stripe, wandering around in the woods, and roaming in the dark where he can hide away from the world...
“You’re enjoying this more than you’d like to admit.” “What? Being trapped in the 3 foot tall body of a beloved cartoon demon? Henry old pal, I’m not enjoying this.” “Uh-huh...” “I’m loving it!”
