It goes without saying that an introductory post is in order.
To start things off, in my defense, I’m fairly new to this whole world of Tumblr and I’m certain there are going to be such times where I’m a bit behind on this new website. It took me quite a while to learn how to run things and so forth around here, and frankly, it wasn’t an easy task. However, before you know it, I’ll be able to figure it out in no time and it will be so much more enjoyable to use for future needs. For those of you who may not be overly familiar with me, allow me to introduce myself, as someday in the near future, I’m going to be a very well-known name everywhere. My name is Rachel Barbra Berry (named after both Rachel Green of the fantastic comedy series Friends and the legendary Barbra Streisand, who also happens to be my idol).
Moving on, while most of you may all ready know that MySpace is a fantastic avenue to share your music with the world, being an active member there for such long periods of time just didn’t seem to cut out for me anymore. I must admit that leaving my MySpace days behind in favor of the absolute wonderment that is Tumblr is such a great deal to make. I have asked my fathers to perhaps change the password to my MySpace, so that I will not be tempted to return to my old ways. Although Tumblr does seem to measure up in this category, Facebook could simply never compare. It was the best move for myself as a vocalist to stay on a website in which my devoted fans could continuously listen to my posted music.
I did, however, make an announcement to all of my loyal followers that they may follow me over to Tumblr, so perhaps I will ensure that this beautiful website obtains a plethora of new members! However, I believe that is more than enough about me — even if you haven’t heard all about my dreams yet, which is something you’ll probably hear a lot about in the future. (Although in case you were wondering and just dying to know now, which I couldn’t blame you for, I want to have won a Tony Award before I’m twenty-five years old and to have originated a role on Broadway before I’m thirty.)
In the end, I can’t say how much I’ve been looking forward to interacting with all of you participants, as I’m sure you all share my excitement just as much! It’s an absolutely wonderful opportunity to be able to be selected to be apart of this experiments. Not only that, but also, to not only grow as a performer because of the surroundings that will likely grasp my need for inspiration for the future that awaits me in New York as a Broadway bound phenomena, but to also push myself to the limits in regards to other more social ones, of course. It’s nice to see my fans already flocking to the newest addition in official pages I have. It makes me all the more appreciative of their inevitable existence.
