I did come over a box of the female soldiers from Wargames Atlantic (Cannon Fodder 2 -females, the name was funnily enough which is surely a great step on the march to inclusivity lol), and it being a gift meant I didn't have any ideas formed before I got it. The ideas have done here and there, anywhere from making Post-Apoc soldiers in reference to the Terminator "Tac-Com soldiers" in the forward flashbacks (?).

But something struck me, seeing someone else painting the jumpsuits blue and, y'know, they could make for some Post-Apoc material after all.

And I have one already before from another miniature maker, so, like, this'd be pretty on-brand for me.

Writing update!

Bound to Ashes is available as a Google Doc (ask for .pdf) for general readers. I'm not after much feedback except general vibes and if you caught any stray typos.

It's 95k words (that's roughly 380 novel pages) written in 1st person present-tense, character-driven, post-apocalyptic science fiction set in a speculative alternate future. If you're interested in themes of survival, learning how to trust, and existing in a world that feels like it wasn't made for you, then you might enjoy it! I would content rate it for older teens and up.
