Bones, Bruises and a Bit of Pizza
Today was a big dayâone of those days where everything feels just a little heavier than usual.
I took UBER to work, then to the hospital, and back home againâsince driving was off the cards after my procedure. My housemate didnât say anything before heading out, probably forgot what today was. And you know what? Thatâs okay. I donât want to feel like Iâm keeping score with anyone. No tallying up favours. No emotional debts.
The biopsy itself⊠well, it wasnât exactly a rainbow. The doctor said my bone was tougher than expectedâgo me, I guess?âwhich meant he had to, and I quote, âpunchâ harder than usual to get the needle through. Not the most comforting visual, but hey, mission accomplished. He got the samples.
Now itâs me, some Panadol, and strict no-shower rules for 48 hours. Honestly? I crawled into bed after getting home and ordered pizza. Sometimes thatâs all you can doâsurvive the storm and feed yourself something warm.
I may be sore, but Iâm still here. Still cloudy. Still trying.
