A shared Quantum computer for Web3 is here, but it doesn’t run on AWS
Postquant Labs launched Quip Network, a decentralized quantum computing protocol designed to help secure up to $20B in blockchain assets against future cryptographic threats.
➤ Postquant Labs has launched Quip Network, a decentralized protocol that aggregates idle quantum computing power to secure $20 billion in blockchain assets against future quantum cryptographic threats. ➤ The network utilizes a ZX calculus framework and a Quantum Virtual Machine to enable interoperability between diverse quantum hardware, while employing cryptographic proofs to allow classical nodes to verify quantum computations. ➤ Quip Network also introduces post-quantum wallet protections and a marketplace for unused quantum resources, aiming to address systemic security risks in DeFi and prepare for the anticipated emergence of cryptographically relevant quantum computers.
