Hi! I have a question for Benmont because rumor has it that he has been dubbed the best dressed Heartbreaker! What kind of shoes go with a casual black midi dress and gold jewelry?
Ben: Hmm. This is a bit tricky because it depends what you already have in your closet and what you're going for. You can go for something bold like heels that are metallic or you can go simple with flats or some white sneakers. It really depends. Just from taking a quick look at some photos for inspiration I see a lot of girls wear either sneakers, heels and boots. As for boots it can range from ankle to knee high but if you're going with boots it's up to you on how high you want them. In my opinion if you're going with ankle boots go with a pair that somewhat resemble the classic Chelsea boots. For heels try to stick with simple black or again if you wanna get bold go with metallic. I think silver would work better than gold in this situation. As for sneakers? If you can't get your hands on a pair of Converse get a pair of white sneakers that look like them. It gives off a nice sporty look while still remaining fashionable. You can also opt for black instead of white but white stands out more. Hopefully this helped because while I was researching I mostly kept the black dress in mind rather than the gold jewelry but I think you can still pull it off. Although I'm not sure if you'd want to pair gold with silver metallic. But you might be able to pull it off! Also hopefully I answered this in time I just noticed it.
