Kliff┆Starter Call

To say that having Takumi allied with Askr is dangerous—or, at least, this particular version of him from the World of Conquest—isn’t exactly a difficult conclusion to draw. Anyone who has fought alongside him could tell you that his stability is questionable at best.

In Takumi’s defense, he did just take out an Emblan soldier that had been aiming for Kliff. That didn’t cancel out the murderous look in his eyes, but…well…he seemed to understand where his loyalties laid.

With the battle over, he lowers Skadi, and the red-hot glow in his eyes seems to dim ever so slightly. With the enemy having been behind Kliff, the two of them are still facing each other. ❝You should have moved,❞ he comments, his voice still a slight growl. He doesn’t seem to be at all fazed by the fact that his shot had barely missed his ally’s head.

KLIFF.

           “well considering i’d rather not die.” kliff acquiesced, “and i can’t let you run off on your own.” he stood, pulling the offered backpack onto his shoulder and setting his jaw. he was still in his gangly, awkward stage. his limbs looking too thin and long for his body, his hair bigger than his head, his eyes wide and frightened half the hours hours, and dead and bored the other. he had one or two half baked spells under his belt, and faye was more determined than skilled in a fight. surely if either of them left alone, they’d barely get past the first forest to the next town. 

            A wide smile spread on Faye’s face as Kliff took the backpack. She let out the breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding. ❝ Okay, then. LET’S — GO ! ! ! ❞ Faye stretched out her hand to Kliff, she hoped she wasn’t shaking, because she couldn’t tell. Her nerves were on fire. She hadn’t a clue how they were going to find them, but she wasn’t going to rest or stop until they did !  ❝ They were stupid enough to leave us behind, Kliff. You betcha I’ll give ‘em a piece of my mind !  ❞
