i get the comfort you can get from oversharing w/ strangers, but the completely unfeeling, context-insensitive way the internet turns every thing you put on it as a vehicle for someone to make money makes this whole article put me on edge

It’s seems to be getting some pretty decent reviews but I didn’t enjoy it at all. It wasn’t Prometheus bad, it was more coherent. It was just really clumsily written and for the most part, really boring.
A pretty standard pain-by-numbers sci-fi plot coupled with the same convoluted alien biology plot.
Prometheus had more interesting visuals. I dunno, I might end up seeing it again, maybe I’m being too harsh.

I actually really liked this show, but even then it was kinda in a “so bad its good” fashion
tbh ive had bad luck with media that tries to be “so bad it’s good” (it doesn’t work well when it feels forced) but this just might be deep enough into that uncanny valley it might work. i’ll have to give it a watch and see
