Not only does this Layered Chia Smoothie look great, it's also full of healthy ingredients. You can get a lot of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids from the chia seeds. The berries, greens, and yogurt give it a lot of flavor and vitamins. It's a great way to start the day or fuel up after a workout.
Ingredients: 1/4 cup chia seeds. 1 cup almond milk. 1 tablespoon honey. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup frozen mixed berries. 1 banana. 1/2 cup Greek yogurt. 1/4 cup spinach leaves. 1/2 cup pineapple chunks.
Instructions: Put the chia seeds, almond milk, honey, and vanilla extract in a jar and mix them together. After you mix it well, let it sit for 15 minutes or until it gets thick like chia pudding. Put the frozen mixed berries, banana, and Greek yogurt in a blender. To make the berry layer, blend until smooth. Put about half of the berry layer into a glass. Once the blender is clean, add the pineapple chunks and spinach leaves and blend until smooth. This will make the green layer. To make a layered look, slowly pour the green layer on top of the berry layer in the glass. After that, add the chia pudding mix on top of the green layer. Put in a straw and enjoy your tasty and healthy Layered Chia Smoothie!
