Title: Learning How to Fly Verse Author: Faithburke Word Count: 57k+ Status: Complete; series: WIP Summary: Adult birds push their fledglings out of the nest to teach them to fly. John Winchester parents by a similar philosophy. Dean finds himself far from home and struggling to succeed. My Notes: Xover between Supernatural, SGA, SG1,[then a lot of other series later]. Learning to fly is done but there are a lot of snippets and ficlets with other series. It's very Dean centric (he's a bit over powered) and SGA-verse is a bit hijacked. Ash, Caleb, Sam, Jess enter later in fic. SPN and SG verse are tweeked a bit to make things fit. Why this fic needs to be read: Dean has his own gate team :) Dean is explosive expert who first comes to John and Rodney's radar with the 'wraith hotel' (where they can check in but can't check out:D) Powers!Dean; lots of supernatural elements and seals and blood work. Teyla & Dean & Athosians building the seal on the island Ronon & Dean :) Atlantis's love for Dean Dean is referred to as a Shaman
