born a butcher’s daughter with all that it entails. seon learned to wield a knife earlier than she did a pen. the smell of blood was soothing and dismembering an animal became an art form. but life was, in every shape and form, stagnant. she lived on routine with no opportunity to dream. everything was meat, sleep and manual labor day in and day out — but not for long.
seon’s father became hazardous to everything and everyone around him, but when she learned about the undead and understood that he was one of them it was already too late — his fatal impact on her life had already driven the young girl far, far away from the town in which she was born. all the way to her estranged mother. and it’s from her that she learned about the lycans.
the city life did nothing good to her and quite early robbed seon on her initial innocence. she learned that men were more than willing to pay for her body — but she also understood that it was just as easy to take their lives. every person with the intent to buy her services were later rewarded with a slit throat. she collected the blood for her father and cut the meat for her mother — while robbing the man on his money to keep for herself. that was seon’s way of taking care of her immediate family and herself.
boredom and a welcomed change of scenery lead her to jeju island. her ‘business model’ didn’t cease with the move. instead she branched out further to sell human blood in great quantities to vampires and freshly cut, human meat to starving werewolves that would rather not be responsible for the killing. again — the money was kept for herself, ensuring financial stability.
the job as a lounge singer was meant to keep her occupied, to seize out fresh prey but mostly to let her dabble in something she truly enjoyed — music.
❝ A CHARACTER TO LEARN ;
seon is a whirlwind — she heeds none but her own laws and couldn’t care less about matters that doesn’t concern her. with a feeling that her time here on earth is limited there is little reason for her to hold back, hence her impulsive tendencies. anything that strikes her fancy will be further indulged in while distressing things are blatantly ignored. there is this wish to cherish every waken breath, and she tries to live as such. while secretive, seon is as soft as she is sharp — but she is always in the now. neither the future nor the past is of any interest to her, and she is her own before she is anyone elses. any attempts to slow or tie her down will be met with defiance, and signs of attachment is her cue to leave. it frightens her when things become too real, and this young woman doesn’t believe that she is worthy of anything permanent. flighty, with difficulty in both finding and keeping a sense of security. seon is a whirlwind — destined to send things flying.
