spare any harushiho thoughts? i think they’re a fun pair 🐧
OOOOOOOOO OKAY. Despite these two being in my top three favs, I don't know that I've ever thought of them together, so I will do my best.
My first thought is that they both completely overthink the whe tickling thing in COMPLETELY opposite directions. Haruka is concerned she's coming on too strong about liking it and wanting to tickle/be tickled by Shiho, and Shiho is mortified attempting to express how much she likes it too. But once it comes to a point where someone (probably Haruka. Shiho is taking that to the grave) gets concerned enough to have a conversation, they talk and get things worked out.
Shiho has a harder time accepting/admitting she likes it and Haruka is so so so patient. She encourages Shiho to tickle her and is super careful not to overwhelm her when she's tickling back. So so so so so many reassurances and "take your time"s Haruka would love to just gently tickle and trace along Shiho's back and neck while they talk about their days. HC that Shiho has to be in a very specific mood for rough tickles so she either lers or lets Haruka turn her into a mushy pile of sweet giggles.
Shizuku TOTALLY tells on Shiho to Haruka and just gushes about how sweet her laugh is and how happy she is that the two are so close and everything under the sun about how cute Shiho is. Saki is also guilty of the same things, but considerably less so, however she will be more direct and mean about it, telling Haruka her worst spots and exactly how to destroy her.
Shiho LOVES using it to make Haruka relax. Just the knowledge that Haruka is happy and *she's* the one that caused it makes her really really happy. When Shiho's feeling particularly playful or in need of revenge, she'll sneak up behind her and taze her sides and then get beet red when the person she deliberately tried to make laugh, actually laughs and doubles over.
Sometimes Haruka has a bad day and has a little trouble communicating that so she'll hover around Shiho until she notices something is up before finally Shiho talks to her about it and finishes by raising her hands up in a silent little offer to wreck Haruka until she can't even remember what was upsetting her.
They're just sweet and awkward and lovely, thank you sm anon!
