‘Funny little things,’ or ‘Strange-looking creatures’ are the kind of comments a hoo-man might make when observing the wondrous diversity of the animal kingdom. Just as surely, one must consider the question, ‘How do humans look to them?!’ I like imagining them making such remarks as, ‘The long danglies are here with those flat thingies to point at us, again!’ It probably wouldn’t look like this, but I’m claiming artistic license and imaginative license.
