Not FLW, but really, really close. 845 Chicago Avenue was designed by built in 1914 for Charles Flitcraft. This distinctly Prairie Style home was designed by Oak Park native John S. Van Bergen. Van Bergen (1885 - 1969) worked in the hallowed studio of the aforementioned Mr. Wright. He started his own practice in 1911. The standout feature of the Flitcraft residence is the underground garage, located under the veranda, also designed by Van Bergen and added in 1923. Van Bergen's designs can be found throughout the Chicago suburbs. #Chicagoland #OakParkIl #PrairieStyle #PrairieSchool #ArtsandCraftsArchirecture #JohnVanBergen #archi_ologie #oldhouselove #casasecasarios #houses_ofthe_world #beautifulhouseoldandnew #TheAmericanHome #houseportrait #BrickStory #VisitOakPark #EnjoyIllinois #ThisPlaceMatters (at Frank Lloyd Wright-Prairie School of Architecture Historic District) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3aWtQTF6tj/?igshid=18ykr1vm5ix3e
