it is fitting that the person he least wanted to see is also on the island. he watches her from a small distance away, not calling out to her yet, but not hiding himself either. he wonders what fate brought her here, he wonders if there’s a higher power that thought it would be amusing to throw his younger sister into this unknown, potentially dangerous situation alongside him.
perhaps it’s punishment for his actions, for him to learn that all was for naught... but pramanix doesn’t deserve to be here besides him.
“anya.”
silverash breaks the protocol they had long obliged back in their world, where she was saintess while he was only another ‘believer’. he smiles, though the smile is neither kind nor unkind, simply there to be seen by the person across from him.
“it’s a surprise to see you here.”
he watches her with an expression that doesn’t betray any of his emotions, an expression much like the ones he wears every single time they’ve met.
there’s plenty silverash wants to ask, plenty he wants to tell her, but as always, he pushes those thoughts aside.
pleasantly, like two acquaintances speaking to one another, he asks, “have you been well?”
