What happened in Manchester is horrendous. That children and young people were targeted in such an attack is heinous, but Manchester isn't the only city we should have in our hearts at the moment. There have been car bombings in Damascus, a bomb at a hospital in Bangkok and Marawi is currently under control by Daesh fighters. The workers in a hospital are being held hostage, the jails and prisons have been emptied onto the streets and entire neighbourhoods are being burnt to the ground. Why is the mainstream media only covering Manchester?
