Funny anecdotes,

And perfect future scenes.

The gut feeling

And electric sparks.

The way his heart melts,

Seeing her fumble around.

The way his eyes shine,

Just listening to her sound.

What is it?

The way she looks at him

Just before she laughs,

Her eyes watering at the rim.

What's this emotion,

Which hammers his rookie heart,

He's always on the edge

And she's never apart.

What is it called?

When she closes her eyes

And sees him with his smiles

When there are butterflies in her stomach

And tears on her cheek

No, they aren't sad,

But it's comfort they seek.

When time doesn't exist for them

And the world doesn't turn

When the moon isn't of value,

And the sun doesn't burn.

When they're locked in their universe

Loving every road they take

When they are together,

And there's nothing at stake.

This feeling of happiness,

Like the sun is rising, just for two.

When the sky changes above them,

To a loving, peaceful blue.

What is this feeling?

This embracing and healing,

When the world is reeling

Just for you.

So, we’re doing a project in my English class and we’re allowed to choose a topic, so I chose Percy Jackson. My teacher said we had to make a cover for the project, and so, here’s mine :)
