This wonderful piece of art by Shiro/Sora. I absolutely love that not only did that capture this scene perfectly, but they went and researched jewellery in Egypt so they had Meisa’s set from Egypt perfect too AND understood more about how jewellery was important in Ancient Egypt!

For those who don’t know, adorning yourself with jewellery was considered a way to be closer to the gods, back in Ancient Egypt. The more jewellery you had, the closer you were. Even those who could not afford gold and expensive jewels would make bead necklaces so they could feel closer to their deities.
Also ankhs were a symbol of life and a protective talisman, while lapis lazuli was meant to impart ancient wisdom and the knowledge of how to use it.
