1954 Premier Model 50
The Premier Model 50 is a classic amp that went through a number of iterations in both style and power tubes. This one has a 6L6 for 12 watts and the always 8″ speaker. They are immensely popular with harp players and also sound excellent with guitar. I have 3 models with 3 different power tubes.
1958 Premier Model 50
This is a true rarity. It is a 1958 Premier Model 50, but it has the mint grill of a 1957 Premier Model 71. The grill is too pristine to have been removed from a trashed 1957 71. I have seen one more. Consensus is that a Multivox employee(s) used leftover 71 grills when they moved on to 1958 and made these for personal use. Both have that slight grill tilt to the left and are mint. 6L6GC puts 18 watts into a single 8″, classic Model 50 tone.
